"After a couple of weeks seeing the UK and Ireland with 9 of our kids and grandkids, we wanted a few days to rest. We loved being in the Sligo area and dining at the nearby Beach Bar. Downpatrick Head was great to see & we even drove to the Giant’s Causeway while we were in the area. Sheila’s house was a nice place to rest and relax. We loved attending church in nearby Screen. A great ending to a great trip!"

"We were expecting the unrivaled scenery of Ireland. But to be able explore from a cozy remodeled police station was icing on the cake. Every room was clean and well stocked right down to the wood and coal for the fireplace. The hostess was warm and so helpful. We felt like we had known her forever. "Impressive looking hotel. My room was well furnished and comfortable. The hotel was equipped with a gym ( which I don't use) and a swimming pool, sauna and steam room which I did use. There was plenty of choice at breakfast as both cooked breakfast and continental style breakfast were available. Fresh fruit was also available for breakfast. In general the staff were friendly and helpful. What I found difficult, as someone arriving on public transport was the distance from the bus station...
