Home in convenient location, 10 minutes to the town of Murphy (and Casino), and just 1 mile to the John C Campbell Folk School. Nothing better than the sound of the river from your bedroom. Flip a switch to light the gas fireplace logs on those chilly mornings. Located on a quiet street with just a few homes. Great spot for your morning walks. Perfect mountain getaway. You will be in Paradise and on Paradise (road name).

Even better the 2nd time around...
This is the second time we've stayed at the cabin this year. It is in a perfect location for attending classes at the Folk School, but this time our visit was purely a vacation. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch to the sounds of the rushing Hiawasee and the birds chirping and flying about - we even saw a young bald eagle swooping down the river! The cabin is in a central and convenient spot for visiting the nearby charming small towns yet feels like a private retreat.

Wonderful home by the Hiawasee
Wonderful home by the river! Well-appointed, great layout to accommodate two couples, nicely furnished, quiet location, easy to access and most importantly - right beside the river! A perfect spot for those attending the Folk School which is a 2-3 minute drive at tops. Or a perfect spot for anyone visiting this section of the Western NC mountains. Very enjoyable stay and we look forward to returning!
