Located at the end of the road,with an acre and a half of privacy including 239' Hiwassee River Front. Lots of parking ,,secure fenced area for your pets,a level yard for outdoor sports and picnics next to sounds of the Hiwassee river rushing by, or relax on the porch rockers and swing.. You will find Trout Rivers Inn more than just a rental cabin.
Once inside, the main level consists of the living room,dining room,kitchen,half bathroom, master bedroom and a full bathroom. The master bedroom with king size bed & tv, opens up to a full length covered deck. Below the deck is a secured access down to the fenced area for your pets.
Upstairs are 2 bedrooms with queen size beds and a full bathroom. On the main level, you have the king size bed and bathroom with tub and shower.
You are 5 minutes to Walmart, grocery shopping,restaurants and activities. The John Campbell Folk School is just a few miles away. 

We've supplied the cabin with an assortment of games for outdoor fun! New Casino is only 10 minutes away.

From 7 degrees to 70 in one week
We had a huge temperature range starting at 7 degrees and ending at 70. My daughter and I had a class at Folk School which is only 7 min away. We loved the river front, and the beautiful view from the screened front porch. The kitchen was well equipped, which was useful in that we cooked all our meals. The home stayed warm even in the very cold temperatures at the beginning of the week. The beds were very firm, so if that is an issue, you may wish to bring your own bed toppers. The king size bed on the lower level has an attached full bath with tub and shower, and there is another half bath on the main which is super convenient. The last few steps going up to the second floor are awkward so use care.

Amazing mountain retreat!
This was one of the best mini-vacations we've experienced. The owners were so communicative and every convenience was present in the cabin. The dogs especially loved that they could hang out on the front porch with us because the whole thing was screened. The fenced in area of the back was great too for potty purposes. The layout of the cabin is great with the master on the main floor and two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. I will say the stairs are a little difficult for someone who has mobility issues so it's great to have the first floor bathroom, as well as a ramp to get through the front door (though a wheelchair user would probably need help up as it's steep). We especially enjoyed the deck over the river, the grill and firepit, and the swing and rocking chairs facing the river. The area is nice, too. It was maybe ten minutes to the Ingles, which had everything we needed, including firewood. There are hiking trails and waterfalls etc. galore only a quick drive away as long as everything the town of Murphy has to offer. (Except for groceries, though, we just stayed on property the whole time!) We loved it so much, we're returning in a few months! Even though it's a 5 hour drive, it's worth it!

Beautiful location on the river
This was such a beautiful location, and the house was very comfortable and clean. Both the screened porch on the river side and the porch on the back side were used frequently, to watch the river and then to watch the deer in the back. The fenced yard was a true bonus with our 2 dogs. It's easy to find and access, and close to both Murphy and Hayesville. It's also incredibly well stocked with paper products, laundry supplies, the works! We hope to return in the summertime to really enjoy the outdoors there! Beautiful spot, thank you for sharing your home!

Christmas on the River
We spent Christmas at the property and it was wonderful! The cabin was warm and cozy with a Christmas Tree and lights that set the tone for our holiday visit. We highly recommend Trout Rivers Inn!
