Welcome to 'Picture Perfect' (OM #J13), a remodeled 1BR/1BA poolside townhome located within the beachside community of 300 Ocean Mile!

This beautifully and thoughtfully decorated townhome is the end-unit of the "J" building in 300 Ocean Mile, closest to the beach! Enter upstairs where you will find the tiled bedroom with King bed, flat screen TV and closet. The bedroom balcony overlooks the driveway and boasts views of both the Gulf of Mexico and the Apalachicola Bay. Just outside of the bedroom is the full bathroom with linen closet and combination tub/shower.

The open living area is tiled throughout with a Twin sleeper sofa and large, flat screen TV. The adjoining sundeck offers views of both the Gulf and community pool and the well-equipped kitchen and dining space has bar seating for 2, a dining table for 4 and closet with laundry center.

An easy 45 second walk along the convenient community boardwalk will find your toes in the white sand beaches and Gulf of Mexico. Enjoy community access to multiple park-style charcoal grills, picnic area with tables and loungers and two community swimming pools. A short stroll toward the Bay will find you on the 6.3 mile long Island bike path, where you can explore the length of the Island by foot or bicycle.

Parking for up to 2 vehicles is available underneath J-13 along with space to keep your kayak or SUP board, additional shaded seating and a convenient outdoor shower. Easy walking or bicycling distance to State Park!

Perfect vacation
This was a great location for us! The end unit so close to the beach. Well stocked for our cooking needs. Nice covered area underneath for beach and fishing equipment. Nicely decorated and comfortable bed. Close to state park too! Fishing was great right behind the complex. No crowds. Great place for the relaxing beach week we needed! We will be back!

Overall, we were pleased with our stay. With that being said, the property as a whole is in need of repair. Decking on most of the units need replaced and the buildings need painted. The boardwalk to get to the pool has had some boards replaced , a few were replaced while we were there but it all needs fixed. The unit was decorated nicely and we liked the layout. The unit could use new silverware and a new mattress. The bed frame/headboard creaked when you get out of bed, annoying when you don’t want to wake anyone up. A major plus is the storage area beneath the unit. It has decking for the floor and netting around it to keep sand from blowing in. It was so convenient to store our beach and fishing equipment along with the shower and spigot to wash the sand off before going inside. Parking is good for one vehicle and is mostly covered although the rain can blow in fairly easily. The walk to the beach is very close which is great for heading back to eat or go to the bathroom. Another plus about location is the close vicinity to the State Park. It is a beautiful place for biking, fishing, and some hiking. One last thing the steps when walking up and down at night could use one more light to make the steps easier to see. It has one half way down the steps but one more closer to the the bottom would be helpful. If you have trouble with steps and are not steady on your feet the steps can be a little challenging.

Wonderful stay and condo!
The condo is exactly as the pictures show: clean, beautifully decorated and great location. We didn’t expect it, but you can sit on deck and see the ocean! The condo was super clean ( I’m picky) and quiet. First time not renting a house so we were concerned about noise-but it was never a problem. We stayed for three weeks and everything was great. The check in/out so easy. Property management checked on us to follow up if we needed anything. Would definitely rent again.

Love the beach in October, and dark skies for star-gazing!
This unit is part of a condo community. Perfect location, quiet corner unit, with a view of the pool and boardwalk to beach. Beautiful sand, very easy to walk on, and secluded state park is close by so the area is nice and quiet. We actually went there during the new moon in October to enjoy the (almost) dark skies area, and actually saw wisps of the Milky Way on several clear nights.

We LOVED staying at this property so much! I’ve been visiting SGI for almost 25 years, and I’ve stayed in a lot of different places on the island. This was my first time staying on the east end of the island, and I loved it! There aren’t really any crowded parts of the island, but the east end is particularly deserted, so we had a lot of open beach to ourselves and a lot of privacy. On top of that, we were only a couple of blocks from the park entrance, which was convenient and nice. My favorite part, though, was that the condo was far enough away from the middle of the island that there was virtually no light pollution at all, so we had amazing views of the night sky and Milky Way! The condo was very clean and comfortable, especially the bed; it was hard to pull myself out of it some days! 😂 The property management company was really cooperative and helpful, especially Jamie; she’s the best! 😊 We will DEFINITELY stay at this property again. Only one warning: It seems like maybe the east end of the island is not sprayed for bugs like the middle and west ends are. I was eaten alive by biting flies, which I have since learned has a lot to do with the time of year and wind patterns, but I would definitely recommend bringing Off with DEET, as that was the only thing that kept them away from me.
