Running Retreat
Me and two friends were in town for a trail race at Camp Grier. This place worked great for that. Nice, clean, comfortable, and walking distance to a brewery.

Great little getaway!!!
This is our second time staying here. It’s a great location in an up and coming Old Fort City. Very clean place. 900 ft to Hillman Brewery which is a definite plus in our book. Location is primo, between Asheville, Black Mountain, Chimney Rock and any other quaint town in between. We loved it! To quote Arnold Schwarzenegger “ I’ll be back” ❤️

Cozy house and cozy town.
clean and well decorated. convenient to mountain biking trails and Asheville. Old Fort is a quaint town. Good restaurants nearby.

Another nice visit
This was our second time in the greenhouse and it was great, our kids love the box of miscellaneous toys and books, and we appreciate the reusable plastic dishes and bathroom steps tool for the kids. The creek access was nice on the one day it wasn’t raining! Very family friendly and the host is always responsive to questions.

Beautiful home and location
It really was even more wonderful than it was in the pictures. The river is so beautiful and is close. It is amazing to listen to it. I slept better than I have in quite some time. Only complaint was that it was too short.

Great Location!
My wife Charlotte and I stayed 2 nights and we able to enjoy some hikes and great food in the area! Walking distance to the Kitsbow shop/cafe/brewery, we always had a place to drop in for a quick bite/drink before setting off/ending our day. The place itself was very unique, clean, and peaceful. It felt like home to us, and we would love to come back and stay again!
