Step inside this adorable cabin and feel stress slip away. With gorgeous ocean views from the living room and kitchen you can enjoy wave watching no matter what the weather! When you are ready to play or just stroll, beach access is just steps away. This newly remodeled home is ideal for couples or small families.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy meals together. There are two cozy bedrooms each with queen sized beds and cottage like charm. Each room provided with extra blankets and pillows to make you comfy while you drift off to sleep listening to the hum of the ocean. The main bathroom is conveniently close to the master bedroom and has a spa like feel, complete with a river rock flooring in the shower to massage those tired feet. Additional bathroom is located downstairs with easy access from outside to wash off sand after a day on the beach.
Stormy weather? No problem, just add another log on the fire in the wood burning fireplace, grab a good book or watch movies with free WiFi /Cable or DVD player.
The heart of downtown Rockaway is less than a mile away, with several shops and restaurants within walking distance.
No matter what time of year, this charming cottage will make you feel right at home!

Perfect beach stay!

Terrific house, location and view
We have stayed here a couple of times and just love it. The house is so well done and feels much larger than it is. You have a view of the ocean from the front window and you can walk or drive downtown. Beach access is directly across the street. The owner is always easy to reach and very responsive. We love it. Beautiful All Around
We stayed at Cracker Box Palace over the Thanksgiving Holiday and it was really lovely. The location is perfect - literally across the street from the beach and because of an unbuilt lot across the street you have ocean views. Sunsets were spectacular. The house was spotless and had enough cleaning supplies to keep it clean! We also had ample dishes to make Thanksgiving dinner. We slept comfortably and peacefully and really loved the built in bed in the primary bedroom - it was so quiet! We also don’t know what the owners did - but we had bright sunny 50 degree days everyday (a treat on the coast this time of year.) Everything was as advertised - don’t hesitate to rent here. Restaurant and Adventure Tips: The Indian Food Truck is just a mile from the house - if you are looking for takeout go there! Kelly’s Brighton Marina & Campground for Crabbing (or let someone else do it and just buy the crab) - it’s a must do experience. If you are heading north to Astoria - you must try the fish and chips at Bowpicker. Enjoy!

Wonderful home along the coast where we were able to rest and cozy up. Beautiful fire, amazing view of the water, and space to spread out. Close to town and cute shops, and beach walks for miles. Would highly recommend.

Perfect stay
I've stayed here several times and just love this property. It has everything you could need. A well appointed kitchen, comfotable beds and sofas, blankets, a fireplace and a lovely view of the ocean. Its centrally located to lots of great things to do along the coast as well. The host is always quick to respond to any questions. I look forward to coming back!

This is a charming, updated, cozy place. Very clean, like walking into a show home. Kitchen and bathrooms have every amenity you need, lovely fireplace, and just steps away from quiet beach. Our host was extremely accommodating, and provided concise, informative instructions for a very comfortable stay! The BEST home away from home location we have ever rented.
