"Hotel was great and perfect location to get anywhere in city. Very easy one minute walk to street car and five minute walk to subway station. All staff at hotel was very helpful. Bar was nice. The Italian restaurant inside hotel had good food but the hostess/waitress (younger one) was rude and did not like serving Americans. "

"Great place if it had a better management , maintenance, cleaning staff and if they cared. A kitchen facility that is never leaned, garage from previous client in the room, bathroom, closet, in 4 days and nights no towel change, only one spoon, one fork, one plate kitchen. towels missed replacing. A day where no one cleaned was the same as a day they apparently cleaned. Worst experience ever after 20 years of traveling to Germany. It is a shame. "Wonderful classic hotel in a beautiful building. The service was excellent, and a convenient location. We will definitely choose this hotel for a future stay. There was one slight problem with our room: the room temperature was too hot, it did not cool down enough even with the A/C however this could be a factor in other older European hotels."
