Don't do it!!!

Pros: You're paying for a great view of the beach and larger balcony but 6 adults have a hard time sitting in 3 cheap chairs.
Cons: EVERYTHING!
I've stayed at SEVERAL hotels and resorts on PCB and even this resort in the last 10 years. This was by far the WORST experience. The unit was dirty; carpet and wall stains; broken dishwasher management knew about and still rented; mildew on shower curtain in one of bathrooms; furniture & decor from the 80's; doors that had to be slammed several times to lock.....I could go on! For teenagers that have never been anywhere and on spring break, ok. But even for anybody paying decent money, this was TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. They refunded our cleaning fee since we had to clean it ourselves BEFORE & after, but that's irrelevant when you just want a nice, clean space to be for a girls birthday getaway!! AWFUL, DO NOT DO IT!!

It was a nice place to stay,had a blast. It was a nice view. On the beach. Real close to local stores . Will plan future to come back .

We had a great experience at Long Beach!! The resort is clean, the staff are helpful and the lagoon pool was very nice. You can't beat waking up to the sound of the ocean right outside your window!!!

nice view from balcony

Pros: Very nice long balcony, nice chairs and chaise lounge on balcony, very nice views. Liked quiet time at condo from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
Cons: New mattresses on beds, better hooks on shower curtains, update the carpeting, check cookware and utensils, put kleenex in condo.
Location: Pink Pelican Ice Cream Parlor has the best ice cream, Tame the Ducks ride was ok, lots of stores to shop in, Walmart, McDonalds and KFC right there.
arrived at 3:15 p.m. wanted to sit on the beach, instead when I arrived I found old dirty/dated gold shag carpeting in living room, lots of black spots in carpeting, most of the light bulbs in the lamps were out, the fan in the bath room made a loud noise, the toilet paper holder was yanked out of the wall, no kleenex in the bathrooms. I had to call maintenance. Didn't have the proper amount of cups and plates to use, I had to buy paper plates, housekeeping didn't give me any, the utensils looked dirty, found bits of food on the spoons and I had to wash them. Liquid soap should have been provided, instead I had to buy it. On one of the pots the handle was very loose, that should have been replaced, I tried replacing it and got no response from housekeeping. Mattress on beds were lumpy, felt springs in mattress. All of this should have been done before I arrived, the old outdated shag carpeting I vacuumed with the vacuum provided and I picked up a lot of crumbs, maybe sand from the beach. I had to pay a fee upon arrival of $166.00 for housekeeping to clean and repair condo when I left. Long Beach should reimburse me for all the work I did there in repairing and cleaning this condo. I don't think housekeeping cleaned well, I smelled an odor in the bathroom where the one big bed I had was, I don't think the toilet was cleaned, I think all housekeeping does there is replace towels and linen on beds, they don't vacuum or clean dishes or utensils at all, heard fireworks from beach.

the bed was broke down flat on one side. horriable... the light bulbs was out.. the sliding door was not able to open,. no air conditioner was working.. the door lock was broken a hard push would open door. ., in one bathroom the shower door was broken... in unit mgr said they wont repalce mattress.. called and they could not move us they said they had no units avalable unless we go to a one tower unit down the street i looked at it iwas smaller unit... they sent a c guy to repair it and that night it was 80 in our unit so they came back and fixed air again... i called the resort mgr she wanted to send maintance to fix their problems while we are in the unit NOT im not on vacation spending $$$$$ for them to repair their unit.... disrupting us

Hotel staff very friendly & eager to assist. Kitchen clean & bigger then expected. Washer & dryer in suite. Bathroom should be updated. Shower stained & curtain wasn't large enough to keep water from getting the floor wet. Bed was comfortable BUT was told the sleeper sofa was not comfortable, they could feel the bars inside & in places there was no support (butt hit the floor). Balcony was wonderful. Grounds kept clean inside & out.

I was sold for a "luxury conduminium" room furniture was old and dirty. Booked through hotels.com. We established a rate and decided to pay. I received confirmation email and a note that the hotel would charge an additional $105 to make sure room is clean and ready. I called hotels and they said I don't have to pay if I don't want the daily room service. I drive I fl to find out front desk is charging me $140 none refundable mandatory charge! And the best part, I have to put all the dirty towels in the bathtub additionally take out the trash and throw it away myself...I fell like I should have got paid for cleaning the dirty room myself! Be careful of all these hidden fees. Will never do buisiness with hotels.com or long beach resort or majestic.

Great stay

Had a great trip, the only things that we had issues with were small problems. The coffee maker didn't work, but they replaced it immediately. One of the bedroom TVs didn't have a remote. One of the lamps had a damaged shade and one of the shower doors didn't slide very well. Other than these small issues everything was great. We really enjoyed the view from the large balcony, great beach access, and wonderful pool.

Very Nice Studio

Room was cozy and clean. Small water leak damaged ceiling. Needed some touch up painting. Everything worked well and basically in very good condition. Liked location--close to everything.
