"This place was amazing! I never leave reviews, but I have to. The staff, everyone..front desk, wait staff, bartenders, grounds crew were all so friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay a delight. The property itself is a gem. Gardens are beautiful, beach is private and amazing. Best sunsets I’ve ever seen. I will be coming back! "
"This small B n B is lovely. Very quiet with wonderful landscaping. Breakfast is included and what a treat. Beautiful fresh fruit plate for each guest with the best scrambled eggs I have ever eaten. Beautiful way to start your day. Spotless every where on this s property. Our only challenge was no A/C in our room the first night which was tough but the next night they provided an extra fan which made it comfortable. Most rooms have A/C. They no longer offer dinner but two minutes up the road is...
"Close to beach is about all the good things to say. Large waves not for weak swimmers so my wife would not go in. Toilets backed up repeatedly, reported it before we went out for the day, was told it was fixed and if it continued to happen they would move us to another room but by time we got back after 5pm there was no one at the office to talk too.Room also had mold on the walls in the bathroom and one morning we had no water at all for a while. We ended up leaving two days early and went...
"If you are looking for a place to totally unwind relax. Disconnect, this is the place you have to like dogs and don't mind the raccoon. The staff was amazing. The owner saw to our needs made us feel so special for our anniversary. The food was amazing. The room was amazing. It's off the beaten path but it was perfect."
"The staff is great and the breakfast was good. Good place to stay if you want to be close to the beach. AC works great and the pool looks amazing. There is some wildlife in the area as well which is nice. Not much to do in the area though and it's hard to get to without pre-arranged transportation. Nice getaway though! Internet works amazing!"
"Dated facility but pretty good. Staff was friendly and helpful except for one housekeeper. We were missing $200 out of my purse after we returned to our room after dinner. "

"We stayed at Shana for 6 nights. The staff of the hotel is amazing and very hospitable, they show that they love their jobs (like the back of their t-shirts says). Beginning with the front staff, Kevin and Katherine who were so nice. The bar staff, especially Warner who was super helpful and provided excellent service.
The restaurant wait staff, Priscila and Lester were very accommodating and awesome. We met the chefs, Allan and Irwin. Allan came to our table to ask if the food was good, it was delicious. That was very special. Steven at the bar was very nice and Andrey was very nice too.
The breakfast staff, Javier, Edgar and Lisandro were very nice and eager to assist with anything we needed. Lastly, Jairo who drives he golf cart was very generous and helpful. Overall, our stay was great mainly because of the wonderful staff and their eagerness to make sure we had everything we needed/wanted. I would recommend Shana by the beach as a great place to stay in the Quepos area. "

"The property was beautiful and clean. The staff were exceptional and friendly. The views were spectacular. The wildlife stole the show. Viewing sloths, monkeys, and birds was a daily occurrence!
The resort is far from the airport and getting to the beaches was a minor inconvenience as the hike to the bay-side beach was steep and a short shuttle is required for a trip to Manuel Antonio. What the resort lacked in beach access, however, it more than made up for in amenities, scenery, customer service and dining options!
Parador is a fantastic hotel and resort and I definitely recommend to anyone! "
