Charming cottage at a convenient location
Historical cottage with Charm. Very spacious and good passive energy concept. However kitchen stove and utensil drawers need to be cleaner. Other areas were clean and comfortable. Bed comfort ok. Reception next door at YHA prison very friendly and helpful. Early checkin was permitted as no occupants the previous night. Interesting to wander arround the YHA dormitory accomodation as they were women prison rooms. Free cereal and bread breakfast together with dormitory guest in the kitchen /dining area. Location pretty convenient as short walk to CAT bus stop and also walking distance to boating harbour

Very quaint rooms and fixtures, nothing like run of the mill hotels. But all the necessities are present.

Historically significant
Old wardens cottage next to Fremantle Prison. Excellent location with parking. Old obviously inside but clean and comfortable with modern touches. Bathroom located at rear with good shower. Beds comfortable. Enjoyed our night in this historic cottage.

Great value family accomodation
The cottages are the best value family accommodation in Fremantle. Very friendly staff, spotlessly clean and everything is within walking distance.

Stunning location
These cottages are great for any type of group, family with/without kids, social group. As there is three cottages in a row and can accommodate up to six in each. Location is fab as its close to Freo centre but out of the throng. Little area out the back to sit or on the grassed area out the front. Access to the prison. Lovely bit of Freo's history to be enjoyed and utilised.

This is a former guard/warden house.Not for everyone as can appear to be spooky to some -just next to Freemantel prison. Very near to Fremantle market and eateries. Private Carpark provided nearby during stay. Only 1 toilet can do cooking. Do your own cleaning as they will only clean after checkout ready for next guest

L' originalité du lieu est grisante. Savoir que l'on est dans ce qui fut une prison est une sensation rare. L' accueil se fait à la YHA et le personnel vous conduit dans un cottage. Il s 'agit d'une véritable maison dans laquelle il y a tout le confort moderne. Terrasse privée, wifi. L' accueil fut extra et nous avons pu visiter la prison. Il faut tout de même marcher quelques 500m pour atteindre le centre ville.
