This was our first time to Philadelphia, so we didn`t know what to expect. The hotel was excellent, situated in the trendy area of Rittenhouse Square, a block away from the best shopping area in the city. Accommodation was very comfortable, clean and stylish. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we opted to pay a little in addition to the free complimentary breakfast a couple of times for the pancakes at breakfast, these were to die for! That said the free complimentary breakfast was perfectly adequate to set us up for the day ahead.
All the main sight seeing attractions were easily reached on foot from the hotel except the Zoo, but local transport was cheap and easy to use. The city felt very safe and was very well signposted. With so much to see and a little less frantic than New York, we really liked Philadelphia and would return again in the future.Everything you probably need to know about how America has developed into the great nation it is now, is in this beautiful city.
Best personal experiences, taking a day trip to Lancaster for an Amish tour, visiting the Eastern State Penitentiary, climbing the `Rocky Steps`, seeing the `Breaking the Mould` sculpture on 16th St and Vine St and eating cheesecake at the `Reading Terminal Market`.

I was in Philadelphia for a parent orientation for parents of incoming freshmen. The location was right on campus and made all the difference in the world! The staff was courteous and the environment was perfect; very quiet.

The Anuva is the classic "Americana" style motel, but with completely remodeled rooms. My room was very clean and comfortable. Had wall mounted flat screen tv. The Anuva is in a classic rustic setting, off of a two lane road, with forest surrounding it. Just a great setting, and only a few minutes from Spring City, PA, which is where the event I had come for was located. The manager was friendly, courteous, and helpful, and stays on site in a house/office located next to the line of rooms.

"Nice hotel between Phila and King of Prussia Mall"
Excellent facilities. Totally enjoyed my stay. Arrived very early morning and was very much treated like a queen. Very nice breakfast area. There was a sign that said deer crossing; and, then I saw one romping across the golf course. It was amazing to see wildlife that close to the city.

This is a high-quality hostel. You won't get any fancy frills, but they have everything you need, and everything is clean and tidy. They have a large kitchen, and the staff are very friendly and helpful and will gladly tell you about the area (restaurants etc.). At one point when a couple people of the opposite sex were hanging out in one of the single-sex dorm rooms, the staff came up immediately to put a stop to it. On a hot day in July, the common spaces and dorm room were pretty warm during the day, but at night they had the A/C going enough to make the dorm rooms (at least) comfortable to sleep in. I'd certainly stay here again.
