From Pinedale, it's roughly 60 miles (97 kilometers) to the northwest to Jackson Hole and 120 miles (193 kilometers) to the northwest to Rexburg.
Make sure you see the the Museum of the Mountain Man while you are in Pinedale.
Of course, visiting just one place will only ever provide you with a narrow glimpse into the wider cultural and natural fabric of a region. So set aside a few days to discover Southwest Wyoming's many attractions. Marbleton, lays 25 miles (40 kilometers) to the northeast, and La Barge sits 45 miles (72 kilometers) to the north.
Jackson, is another interesting spot to head to. It is around 60 miles (97 kilometers) from Pinedale and offers a diverse range of things to do and see, for example Miller House, Mount Moran and Jackson Hole and Greater Yellowstone Visitor Center. If you are after more entertainment why not stop by Cascade Canyon, Teton County-Jackson Recreation Center and National Wildlife Art Museum before heading back to Pinedale.
