Medieval tower in a quaint old village

Quaint and cozy apartment at the first and second floor of a medieval tower, situated in the ancient part of the village, peaceful because only pedestrian.
It has one bedroom with wooden ceiling and wooden beams, with a double bed and a single bed.
Living room with a cozy fireplace (we provide a generous basket of firelogs), spatious table + 5 chairs, double sofa bed, TV, WiFi.
Full equipped kitchen (gas, microwave, pots and pans, oven, fridge, kettle, toaster, two italian cofee pots for 3 and 6 cups, american coffee pot).
Bathroom with shower, hairdryer, fan heater.
Washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Maps, books and tourist info in different languages.
Big sunny terrace with table, chairs, sun deckchairs, small barbecue.
Terrace: a big terrace with table, chairs, deckchairs is outside the tower, in front of the entrance of the tower.
Parking: the heart of the village is medieval with just pedestrian alleys: a big public parking, free with no time limit, is at 100 meters from the house, behind the church. Private parking on disposal for our guests is at 200 meters from the tower (close to the restaurant “Breglia”): fenced, uncovered and unattended.

Utterly Charming
The medieval tower apartment was absolutely perfect for our little family! We loved the history and charm of Breglia. Lucia is incredibly knowledgeable about the village and the surrounding area, and provides a ton of information that we used to plan our time there. I would encourage anyone hesitant to just go ahead and book. This is an absolutely wonderful rental with so much to enjoy in the area.

Fantastic and quaint village!
This small village was breathtakingly beautiful! Lucia met us at the bus stop and escorted us to the property! She even helped us haul our luggage during an unexpected rain storm! Would recommend this property to anyone wanting a quiet getaway!

Staying in a small village has many great offerings
From the moment we saw the pictures of this medieval tower, we knew we had to stay here while touring around Lake Como. We were not disappointed! Lucia was the perfect host, not only prompt in meeting us to guide our way up to the tower but guiding us towards points of interest in/nearby the village and in the mid-section of Lake Como. Her well drawn maps showing hikes around the village along with her personal interest in our doing the hikes nearby was contagious. We are glad we listened to her advice. We particularly enjoyed returning back to our lodging and sitting around the fire in the fireplace, sipping wine and reflecting over the fun we had during our stay.

Lucia's property is amazing!
Lucia's property is amazing! A cute and clean 2 story apt in a very small village. Very quiet and cozy, having a fire in the fireplace reallyadds to the ambiance. There is a great system of hiking trails out the doorand a spectacular view of Lake Como from the nearest trail. Very easy to access from the lake. Lucia is very friendly and a great asset for local history and suggested things to do at Lake Como. I would highly recommend it as a place to stay.

Perfect affordable spot for sightseeing, hiking and rest
We absolutely loved our week stay in Breglia the 15th century village. And Lusia our hostess could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The drive up the mountain was a bit longer than we had expected but it was also a beautiful and fun drive. The views from the village of Lake Como were amazingly gorgeous. We drove completely around the lake visiting all the villages and everything was very easily accessible by car or ferry. We even took one day drive into Switzerland to see the Alps it was only about a 2 hr drive to St Moritz. The Breglia area is also a phenomenal hiking region. Hikers were coming and going the whole time we were there and we did take part in some hiking as well. ReNae and John Springfield, Oregon

High above Lake Como
Very typical appartment and very friendly support. Not really at the lake and without direct lake view but a quiet hide-away if you are looking for some days away from the busy life.

Die Erwartungen ,die man von den Bildern hatte, wurden noch übertroffen.Total ruhige Lager,perfekt zum Entspannen!Die Berge hinter dem Dorf laden sofort zum Wandern ein.Oder man ist in 10 min am Comer See,wenn man das möchte.Die Gastgeberin ist unheimlich nett und hilfsbereit.Wer mit ihren Empfehlungen nicht die passenden Aktivitäten findet,ist selber schuld.In der Ferienwohnung mangelt es an nichts,alles ist ordentlich und sauber.Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und überlegen uns,wiederzukommen.
