"The house was great for our stay. We loved getting up in the morning and looking out at the river from the back porch. The evenings were so peaceful. We would love to come back in the warmer months to enjoy the pool and river. We had 9 people with us so we had plenty of room."

Communications between the owner were top notch: every message was answered immediately. We had no complaints & enjoyed our stay in comfort & peace."

"Great weekend spent at TXST graduation! Location was close enough to get to/from campus and 15 min from our students off campus residence. Great open floor plan and was much more comfortable than a hotel. Sad we just discovered it after graduation :)"

"Overall a good place. It's definitely in the woods and you can expect all the bugs, wasps, catepillar overload, and any other creepy crawlies you can think of when you think of being in the woods. The cowboy pool gets filled with bugs and stuff falling from the trees as soon as the cover is off. Being from Colorado, I didn't fully expect that. It's only a few minutes from all of the New Braunsfels fun and is only 45 mins to San Antonio so location was great. The river or lake access isn't ideal...

"We had 16 people in our group and had so much room! I loved that we could all sit at the table together. We were able to stay up and late and laugh but still not disturb the ones in the bedrooms. Great for groups"

"We stayed 5 nights. The great part: location was awesome on the river. We enjoyed canoeing (which were available at the unit ), fire ring, outdoor games. Saw wild turkeys and deer in the property. Lots of privacy. Everyone had a bed with lots of room. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The dining area was large and was a wonderful gathering area. We truly loved our stay. Close to town and any shopping/ grocery needs Things to improve: indoor ac units need air filters. Upstairs...

"This was such a cute property and great for multiple families staying. We utilized this property for me and my husbands wedding. All of the brides maids stayed in the house with us to assists with the wedding and it was perfect. The host were great and even gave us an extra hour or so to check out. I would highly recommend staying at this house."
