Very old, run down & parking is limited to street

Posted Sep 19, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Hot water, towels and washcloths without stains
No hot water, no hot water, no hot water! In the first room we were assigned (502) the patio window was broken and had cardboard over it. It had obviously been in this state for awhile as the duct tape holding the cardboard on was so old it wasn't adhesive anymore and had peeled away. The room was extremely small with only enough space to walk between the beds. The bed cover and curtains were flowery pattern, likely dating back to 1980. The next room was a step up as the bed covers were duvets covered in white sheets. However, the worst part of the stay was that there wasn't any hot water for showers in the morning. The hotel staff apologized but said they couldn't give any discount on our room rate as we had booked/paid through Expedia. They did give us breakfast vouchers for our first night, but nothing the second and suggested we email the manager ourselves. I won't book through expedia again as the hotel clearly felt like they had our money so there was no reason to make sure we were comfortable and happy.

Average facilities

Posted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: Breakfasts was good
Cons: Towels were too thin, need to be updated. Hot water supply must be overhauled. Front of desk personnel need training in customer management.
Location: Quite good location except a lot of railway noise . Walking distance to most tourist facilities.
I felt that the facilities were misrepresented in the advertising. There was no hot water when we arrived and the desk attendant indicated this was usual and could possible extend for the whole four days of our stay. They indicated that "this always happens when we are full"

Nice view of the Harbour

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Convenient location - this is where the bus from the airport stops and is the location of the car rental agency and the airlines
Cons: Rooms need to be updated
Location: Take a whale watching tour, look at the cannery, otherwise not much to do unless you go fishing
Met our needs well. Great location, good food in the restaurant.

Prince Rupert Stay

Posted Aug 7, 2014
Pros: Location, great people, very clean.
Cons: A little dated but beds were very comfortable.
Location: We were just passing through but we did find Dolly's Fish Market and had an exceptional fish and chips dinner.
The hotel was very clean, the staff was very helpful and courteous and the room was very large and comfortable, The hotel was old and it was a little noisy but overall a very pleasant stay. I would go back again should the opportunity arise.

Good place for business

Posted Jul 26, 2014
Pros: Location
This is a good place to do business, as it is a favourite breakfast place locally and all the busses to and from the airport go through here. Despite its age, the rooms are comfortable and you might even get a good view. I've always found the staff I've dealt with helpful and friendly.
