In the middle of nowhere... there is a Cook IslandPosted Dec 29, 2014
If you want to run away from civilization then the Cook Islands are for you. Lonely beaches, emerald-green water, white sand and high mountans. The hotel is located on the south part of Rarotonga island. This part of the island was very windy in December, but the view from the window is astonishing! The water was around 24 degrees, warm wind, but somedays it was rainy. I would recommend to rent a car there, as in case of the bad weather it's better to drive to the west coast and swim near "black rocks" where the wind is not so intensive. The beach near the hotel is fantastic. Wite, wide and very clean. It's very comfortable to swim near the hotel as there are much less under-water rocks. However, I would recommend to take swimming shoes to avoid cuts. There are not so many restaurants on the island, so it's also more comfortable to have a car to be able to travel among them. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are huge and great!

Paradise is in rarotongaPosted Dec 1, 2014
Initially stayed in garden room for 3 days. Was then upgraded to beachfront room for remaining 4 days. Great hotel and service with stunning beach by the lagoon.

Beautiful resort and beachPosted Nov 24, 2014
Great resort, lovely staff, great restaurant and cocktails! Beautiful snorkelling off the beach. Very clean facilities including the room, pool and gardens. Bed comfort 7/10 but other than that it was a fabulous place to stay!

Beautiful hotel, fantastic location and great staff, couldn't have asked for better. Beachfront rooms well worth the premium.

Luxury at RarotongaPosted Aug 27, 2014
Lovely hotel but staff were not as 'warm'... (kind of 'one word answer' to a question)... Aporo (?) was absolutely helpful, though! (thumbs up to him!)

Great location, room to beach in few stepsPosted Jul 13, 2014
After a flight delay arrived in the early hours of the morning and nothing was too much trouble. Sam got us to our room and left all paperwork until the morning. Room was lovely and sitting on the outside deck over the beach was very relaxing. Even though it was righ on the beach it was still very private. Staff were all very helpful and when we asked if we could check out a little late due to our departure time, again we were accommodated to have the room until we left, so made the most of the time at little poly. Having kayaks, paddle boards and snorkel gear readily available (and free) was great to enjoy the coral on the doorstep. Overall a very relaxing place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was fantastic and felt really private. We liked that the hotel wasn't huge - only 14 rooms/suites, and the staff was all very helpful and really nice.

Perfect location on an uncrowded beachPosted May 24, 2014
Pros: The staff are extremely helpful and will organise everything for you without hassle. Outside bath in the room. location is perfect. Quiet. No kids!
Cons: Two single beds together which had the join in the middle. Some odd music choices (Nicky Minage at dinner?)
Location: All rooms close to the beach. Snorkelling a must! Matutu brewery, massages, Muri Beach
Without knowing a lot about where to go in Raro I booked this because it was adults only and had some good photos. It's in an amazing location a few minutes by scooter from Muri (the main touristy beach) but it's practically empty by comparison. The snorkelling is fantastic and the resort provides snorkel gear, kyaks, SUPs for guests which was great. There is lots of beach furniture and the rooms are extremely well equipt - especially having an outdoor bath and shower. Raro overall has quite expensive food but Little Poly has some good lunch and dinner options.

Beach bungalow 6 probably has best view, but all !Posted May 5, 2014
Pros: Staff and location and bungalow
Cons: clothes line in room or outside for wet bathers.
lovely small boutique resort, only 14 bungalows. We had number 10, at end of row on the beach. quiet and lovely, could sit out on deck and enjoy the view of the water and beach. Swimming lovely but shallow and Lots of corral around. White sandy beach. No stingers or jellies seen. Sam the manager so accomodating. It's a family owned and run business so he takes great pride in this. Lovely staff. Breakfast buffet lovely overlooking infinity pool and water. Lunch and Dinner menu a bit limited but food nicely prepared. Would recommend to any couple looking for quiet, peaceful lovely get away. Bungalows spacious and all have views of water from your bed.

Fantastic authentic experience.Posted Apr 22, 2014
Fantastic staff , nothing was too much trouble. Right on the beach , unprentious luxury . Great location, fantastic snorkelling 10 steps from your door. If you want a taste of real rarotonga look no further ( no plastic straw roofs here !)
