The hotel decor is creative, whimsical and quite lovely
The Ash Bar/restaurant is unique - harkens back to the 30's art deco - could imagine Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca. We had a great pre dinner complimentary drinks with oysters - great service. Brunch there the next day was also really good.
Unfortunately, we have to give a mixed review. The room, althoughtastefully appointed was really small - no confortable chair to sit in - no real place to store clothes other than a cabinet with one shelf - the lighting was inadequate for reading - it was dissapointing not tohave coffee availabe the next morning til 9AM (So I went to Starbucks)
I'll say though, the staff ws quite friendly and eager to please. I'd probably come back if I knew they would provide morning coffee and that I'd have a better choice of rooms with bedside reading lights.
