If you look closely you can see that this isn’t a new hotel, but they certainly keep it up nicely. Our room was newly painted, and the furnishings were new, and the beds/mattress were divine. The one caveat is that it is near the train tracks, and so if you like the rumble of trains (like I do) it is a fine background noise that I think honestly probably helps me sleep. But if you don’t like the rumble of trains, this may not be the place for you. For me, it was perfect. Staff were great! It’s a very convenient location, walking distance to the downtown for shopping. We enjoyed using the barbecue a few nights for dinner making our own food bought at the Save-On Foods just down the stree, making us all happier that we didn’t have to eat out for every meal of the day.
