We did like our stay, just were not "wow'd" enough for the amount paid. Thankfully we got an upgrade (btw - elevator was broken) into a room in Eden, which was very nice, but without it I would've felt very disappointed with garden unit for $1K/night.
New entrance/lobby is not impressive, weird "naked"/not decorated, drop off circle on the hill...
The absolute best part of this establishment are the employees, all of them, from gardener to concierge, to cooks, cleaning people and servers, literally all workers are very nice and attentive, they create very comfortable atmosphere.
Food is great, drinks - not so much, while the liquor variety is good, the mixes and juices used are poor quality.
Separately about the disco club. Not sure if its done purposely, but the music gets very very bad around 12.30am and then club is completely cleared by 1am. Huge disappointment. Really a dealbreaker.
Now, "playroom" at the disco is another disaster, whoever designed it and didn't prioritize upgrading it in years, has very little understanding of what "lifestyle" is. Having many available and unused spaces on property, they should definitely convert those into various playrooms.
Overall the resort has a disjointed feeling.
