My stay at this property was overrated. Due to the very unfortunate situation I was put on by EXPEDIA. Expedia really messed up my whole vacation. I had originally booked two separate rooms for TWO people each. Since the second room I booked was mistakenly booked for ONE person, I called in to speak with someone at EXPEDIA, and they told me that they would update the booking and make it for two people, which it was clearly not the case. The day of my check-in I was welcomed to the surprise that Expedia did not update or made the changes to what I had requested, leaving a bad experience and taste to the whole vacation. The rooms are very outdated, dirty and the toilet and one of the sinks clogged. We told and ask maintenance to come and fix it, and only attempted once, told me and my wife that it was fixed, and it was not. Also, another thing that really ticked me off was the fact that the price I was charged extra for the second guest was almost close to $1k which is outrageous! And to top it all off, the people at the reception lied to me, telling me that my family and friends that were staying at the other RIU properties would be able to join us at the pool or ameno and it was ALl a FAT lie!
