"Decided last minute to spend 3 days with family. Have traveled to Michigan for 30 years but have never visited the Silver Lake area. The area and the house were both hidden gems for our family. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to relax or have fun including private lakefront access a few hundred feet away from the front door. Nice kitchen with spacious counter, huge firepit, outdoor hot water shower, huge yard, and another firepit at the lake for watching beautiful sunsets....

"We were looking for a quaint place to get away for springbreak 2024 and found this gem. Nice and quiet, snowed, miles hiked on the north country trail, and views of the lake from the hot tub. The little gas station around the corner had amazing pizza too. The ownees checked in on us and were great communicators. The place is small but it was a perfect fit for 2 adukts, 2 kida and a chocolate lab to sneak away and have lake front views."

The house was a great size for 9 of us - comfy beds, 3 full baths with plenty of towels, kitchen well stocked with more appliances, cutlery, and dishware than I've ever had at any other rental property, and a big full basement. "Easy walk to the beach, nice fenced in yard for dogs(must be on chains because fence isnt dog proof). Be very careful where you allow yoir dogs if yoi bring them because there were old pet stains and dogs always want to pee over other dogs pee. Dont let them walk away from you. Our kids loved having the bottom floor to themselves. 40 minute drive to the hunting grounds mu husband likes."
