Welcome to your San Felipe vacation getaway! Fully furnished 2 bedroom, 2 bath home with carport, observatory deck to take in the breath-taking views of the beautiful Sea of Cortez. 3 Mins from resort amenities; full-size swimming pools, tennis courts, 18 hole golf course and more! A fee of $35 (per stay) for wristbands from El Dorado Ranch. Wristbands is charged by El Dorado for their amenities. Please contact My San Felipe Vacation Rentals for any home services needed. The neighborhood is quiet, yet close to the city for nightlife, shopping and of course close to the beautiful beaches! Located in Rancho Del Sol gated community. Has a BBQ on the front porch but please be sure to bring your own propane tank. Staff at El Dorado can provide local taxi information. Free WiFi, desk and office chair so you can work as needed on your vacation.
The home is located at 6500-003-08. Guests upon arrival are to check in with property management My San Felipe Vacation Rentals located at Playa de Oro at km179 on the Mexicali Highway 5 headed south towards San Felipe (first left after the large green Alligator Sign). My San Felipe Vacation Rentals is located in the small strip mall to the right when turning in. They will provide keys and will escort you to the home located across the road from the main El Dorado Ranch Office with the fountain. You will enter in through security. Cross streets are Electrica and Estero la Bocana. Please contact property management with any issues 760-592-1261 or +52-686-187-2399. Check in is at 3:00 pm.

Stress free get away
My husband and I own property in El Dorado Ranch but not a home yet so staying here is so convenient and easy. Our host is wonderful along with the management company, they are always ready to help and make things right. This is our 3rd time staying at this particular property and it’s always perfect.

The property is neglected a shower doesn’t work, the refrigerator doesn’t work it drains a lot water, if needs to be fumigated a large scorpion come out , they didn’t leave plastic bags for garbage, I was very dissatisfied with the property

Thank you for the great accommodations. We were glad to have such a nice place to land after a flight from Canada followed by an all-day drive from Northern California. We arrived to find all the air conditioners running and interior was pleasant and cool. After my phone message, your manager was quick to connect the water heater. We turned on the refrigerator to store some groceries we purchased and all went well. The screening and access through the El Dorado Ranch gate was tedious, but I appreciate the protection and privacy it affords.

We loved the high ceilings, although there is quite a lot of deferred maintenance going on. The first night we experienced a huge wind storm. The glass in the aluminum frames rattled loudly all night! My husband found pieces of card board to use as shims. Also the doors are missing weather stripping so the dust/dirt/sand blew in. I am glad we drove down in our Motorhome so what the kitchen didn't provide, I used out of my RV. There were No kitchen towels and the bath towels were tattered and looked like someones cast offs. No hand towels or wash cloths either. The skillets were the worst I've ever seen! I kept saying 'well this is Mexico" which saddens me because it doesn't need to be that way. I also say 'you get what you pay for' We did have fun with friends that have a house there in EDR. I think I gained 10 pounds in 3 weeks! Oh and there wasn't a toaster or pot with a lid and no mattress pad. But thank you for allowing my little Poodle. That meant the most.

Great place to stay
This is our second time staying here at this home. We did have an issue with no hot water for two days. On the second day (Christmas) the management company came out and replaced the water pump which was bad and causing the water heater to shut off. The next morning again we had not hot water, we were leaving this day so we just told the management company when we turned in the keys.

Great amenities for the falmily
This house was double booked during our trip, however, the host offered us another family house (bigger) for the same price two roads down. Both houses located within El Dorado Ranch, a community with pool areas, pool bar/restaurant, golf course, private beach. We spent most of the time at the pools and/or sightseeing. The house was just a place to rest. This was our first time renting a house and we were not disappointed, especially on how attentive the hosts were with my questions/concerns. El Dorado is a safe place to stay at, however, it gets windy at night. Don't leave your light items outside or they will be gone with the wind. Special thanks to Victor, the cleaning person, who helped us during a personal incident. Thank you Mr. Wold and Brooke for your prompt responses. P.S. On clear nights, go up on the roof and enjoy the stars!

House was mainly okay, no hot water for showers, taps in kitchen sprayed sideways. One toilet broken until the day before we left. Roof top very spongy, scared to use it. No outside chairs to sit on, no plugs for sinks. Looking for a place to rent for the month of February next year.

Casa Monita is such a beautiful home very cozy vacation home that makes you feel that you're at home. My experience was phenomenal in a gated area very safe and the customer service was outstanding. Will definitely be coming back!

Casa sencilla nada de lujos ni extravagancias pero camas cómodas y limpias igual toallas de baño y todo lo que se nesecita para disfrutar de la estancia en la propiedad , desde la terraza se puede observar el maravilloso cielo estrellado , el estacionamiento tiene acceso a la recámara principal, cuenta con aire acondicionado para no sufrir del calorcito por las noches A mi familia y a mi nos ha encantado el lugar es justo lo que nesecitabamos para descansar .
