Needed a motel with car park for an overnight stay in SOMA. Civic Center fit the requirement. I have recommended to friends and will again. The place even has a bit of style.

Motel with everything

Posted Oct 17, 2014
Motel has everything you need. Coffee maker, fridge, microwave, hair dryer, iron, and toiletries. Plus they provide a comprehensive continental breakfast. The staff were very helpful and your room is cleaned every day. It is quite a walk to Union Square. But if you buy a weekly Muni Pass for $32 there is a bus stop on the corner and you can take two buses to Union Square. You can also take the 47 bus directly to Fisherman's Wharf.

Good location, good price, good rooms!

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Price, very nice employees and good continental breakfast!
Cons: Better mattresses and bigger bathrooms
Location: It is a hike to Market St. and buses.
Only six blocks to Market St. and catch busses there! Rooms are more than adequate; shower is very good; T.V. fine; decent quicky breakfast; have good walking legs; low noise levels are appreciated. Will return!

Walking Distance to Civic Center & Market St

Posted Oct 13, 2014
Pros: The bathroom was really clean, there were a fridge and microwave.
Cons: The wifi connection, had to keep reconnecting. Could have extra beds for additional fee. Queen bed and there were 3 adults.
Location: You could walk to market street and go shopping or if you were attending a concert at the Bill Graham Civic Center, you could walk there, no problem!
The experience was nice. My sister and I were trying to book a hotel close to the Bill Graham Civic Center and everything was being booked due to a busy weekend. Fortunately this hotel had everything we wanted. The wifi connection could have been better and the condition of the room. Overall, it was nice. Late night restaurants delivered to the hotel since we got back at midnight and were starving. In the end, I was pleased with the stay.

Noisy motel close to nothing for a low price

Posted Aug 30, 2014
Pros: Rooms were clean. Hot water worked.
Cons: Staff training, noise levels, everything!
This was the only rooms available at time of booking. The front desk was non commital to the point of rudeness. The room while clean and a bit shabby but acceptable , came with hotel supplied ear plugs. We thought for traffic noise but it turned out to be useless against the all night door banging, multiple groups living in a room, party and screaming crowd. We did not sleep for the three nights we stayed and got out the minute we could book other accomadation at another hotel at the same price which turned out to be charming. Go to the Hotel Opal instead and avoid this motel.

NICE HOTEL IN DT sf

Posted Aug 14, 2014
Pros: The huge restroom in side the Disable friendly room
Cons: the bed, please upgrade them to more modern memory foam ones
Location: Shopping and food is all 5 min drive.
It was a nice Hotel in DT SF that is close to all the shopping center, room is neat and nice looking with a HUGE nice restroom. The bed is really old and is a spring mattress but over all the room is not bad. Bed sheets makes the room look very old but the remodeled restroom is really nice. They don't always pick up their phones and AAA discount is $10 dollars off your hotel stay.

South of Market - Dore Alley Weekend

Posted Jul 27, 2014
For a south of market motel, it's great. The Ronda are clean and comfortable and the club is close to all the Gay clubs.
