Good value. Good location overall.

Was pleased overall. Clean for sure. Comfy bed. TV issues, coverage spotty but internet ok. Parking only $19/day. Big room and good value. Pretty close to everything I needed. Did not feel unsafe and I was traveling alone. I would stay again.

Für ein paar Tage ok

Posted May 18, 2015

Civic Center Motor Inn - Nein danke

Posted May 12, 2015

Very good price, and good location!!!

Posted May 8, 2015
Pros: Very clean and need! They do clean the room every day and change blankets and everything, had a microwave, coffee maker, AC and a refrigerator
Cons: Maybe the TV, it was a small very old tv and perhaps they could add another vending machine with extra bottles of water.
Location: Although the location looked a little sketchy, we had everything within walking distance. Very closed to downtown San Francisco
Rooms were kept super clean, the only minor thing was the fact that the bathtub was separated from the hands sink. So you have to go shower and finish on the other side to either brush you teeth or shave and stuff like that. They offered free Continental Breakfast but we didn't try so I can't make a comment on that. The front desk girl was nice, the check in was very simple and super fast.

Posted Apr 28, 2015
Pros:

Civic Center Motor Inn overbooked, no rooms.

Posted Apr 25, 2015
We paid for a three star motel, only to get rerouted to a two star less desirable motel upon arrival. We were not reimbursed the difference and did not get our money back. Poor service by motel and they did not honor the commitment by Expedia.

Cons: The room was cramped and claustrophobic.
Location: First, there is nothing within walking distance. It is right at the edge of the revitalized areas but is uncomfortable after dark.
This hotel is located in a light commercial/industrial district. During the day it is full of new startups and all that it brings, so it seems pleasant. Once the evening rolls in the more colorful aspects of urban life come out. SFPD fly down the main road at least half a dozen times a night, sirens blazing, and the hotel is so old you can hear people sneeze when they walk by the hotel from the street. If you are one of those people who like the door to your room facing the wandering public, then this is the place for you.

In town for business

The staff was great checking into and out of the Hotel. I originally only booked one night but stayed an extra night. The staff was accommodating and the room it's self was nothing fancy but it was clean. The hotel could definitely use a facelift but for the price I can't complain.
