Worth the Price
When you drive the the neighborhood you become skeptical if you made a good decision about staying here. We stayed for 4 nights and it was so quiet and peaceful. We didn't use the pool much because it was cold but the house met our expectations. Comfortable beds and great pillows. Perfect for our group of 7/ Once we had the damp smell out of the air after we arrived the house was very functional. The washer and Dryer were top notch and the little bit of beach equipment provided was much appreciated.

It's got potential
Check in was really simple, they even let us in early, that was great! We noticed right away that the pool was not heating and called the host. He came out right away and cleaned the filter. Then of course it took a day and a half to warm up. We had to call the next day because the pool seemed to be having filter issues again. At nite with the pool light on, we could see stuff floating in the water. The pool area itself was nice, great loungers, table and chairs. Just a suggestion: a few pool noodles, floaties and beach towels provided would really go a long way. The house just needs a good deep clean. The bed skirt in the master was dirty and stained, blinds were dusty, there was tape on windows, dirty filters and ceiling vents. Burned out light bulbs, no drain plug for the kitchen sink. Just so many little things that began to add up. We are not picky about outdated furnishings, but the couches and decorative pillows were dirty and stained. When checking out, as expected, we were asked to strip the beds, leave linens on the bed for laundering, but fold the blanket cover and leave on the bed - so is that not being laundered? Not the hosts fault by any means, but the dogs next door barked for hours. This place really has great potential with some cleaning and a little TLC. The hosts were really nice and attentive so we hate to leave a bad review, but we too read reviews before booking so we felt we needed to give the hosts and future guests a heads up.

nice pool area
Pro's: the pool is a highlight. nice patio furniture, bbq grill, space to sun bathe and relax. Kitchen and baths have been updated. Large dining room table. 4 nice beach chairs. Con's: the living room furniture needs to be replaced. TV's need to be updated. hot tub wasn't working.

Lovely home away from home
This is a comfortable house. Lots of living space and the pool /deck area wonderful. Loved the heated pool and spa. The neighborhood was quiet and also close to everything. Our 3 year old grandson was supposed to join us but could not. But this house was a good setup for adults or family w children to enjoy. Directions for use of pool spa garbage etc well marked … for everything. We enjoyed it very much and would definitely stay here again.

The review doesn’t reflect the reality. The house has been remodeled recently, the furniture definitely doesn’t have mites. We have pest control servicing the property on a regular basis and got a report confirming that the house does not have mites. We clean and disinfect before every check-in, including the AC. The area is a quiet neighborhood close to shops and restaurants. We apologize for the inconvenience you’ve experienced with the pool. Beautiful pool and view of the lake were great!
Very nice updating of kitchen and master bathroom, bedrooms are all fine, 3 good-sized televisions, plenty of equipment for children, couches in living room need replacing, outdoor front yard needs work, not the greatest location.

Great vacation house
My family stayed for 5 nights. The house was nice and spacious, everything exactly like in the pictures. We enjoyed our time in the pool, jacuzzi was not working due to Covid -19. The bedrooms were spacios, bathrooms clean. Really enjoyed big shower in main bedroom .Siesta Keys beach is about 20 min away. Definitely will be coming back in the future .

Wonderful home! Will come back again!
We stayed 6/13/20 to 6/20/20, the home was spacious and wonderful. The owner responded so quickly and was very easy to speak with. My only thing is, he charges for the hot tub [10 a day] as its the same temperature as the pool. Also, some reason the bathtub [not in master suite] did not funtion so my kiddos had to use the shower in the main bedroom.

Great vacation rental !
Home was clean , beds were comfortable, great location, and house was well equipped. The pool was a great bonus . Siesta keys beach was only a short drive away and their was ample parking. The landlord is very responsive and helpful. We will be coming back in the near future .

Definitely a return destination
We stayed for 3 nights with our family of 6 and my parents, 8 in total. The house was nice and spacious, no one on top of each other. The pool was great, large enough for several floats for the adults to relax on and the kids to still swim and play. It’s also close to downtown Siesta Key and the beach, so nice for shopping, dining, or playing in the sand. The owner was quick to answer any questions we had. Thank you Artem for a nice vacation!

house is older and in need of updates. Sliding glass door to pool was a bear to open and shut. House was bare of the basics. Was lucky to find salt, pepper, TP, paper towels, house was stripped. Past houses Ive rented always had leftovers of sorts. Foil, saran wrap, items of this sort

Great visit on Island Date Street!
This villa turned out to be just what we were looking for - exceptionally clean, updated with modern appliances and fixtures and furniture. The pool and the pool area were clean and enjoyable. Although the houses are close together in this neighborhood, this villa is very private and the neighborhood is quiet. Overall, a wonderful place to stay!

Went on a golf trip with a few friends and this house was perfect size for 4-5 adults. Nice home - very clean - AC works great plenty of linenes and towels. The pool was clean - all good things to say EXCEPT if you want to use the hot tub you need to pre-arrange and pay 80 dollars for the ability to heat the hot tub. I did not read the contract fully - so that was ‘my bad’.... but a hot tub after 36 holes of golf each day would have been nice.

Comfortable, Clean, Pool, Spa in great location!
We had a wonderful 3 week stay in this very nice 3 bedroom house. I was impressed with the updated kitchen and how clean everything was. Plenty of cookware, plates, etc. The king size beds are very comfortable. It was a treat to relax in the pool and spa after a day of sightseeing. Owner is very responsive. We had a minor problem with the spa but his father came over and had it fixed right away--it was a pleasure to meet him. Neighborhood is quiet but close to grocery stores, restaurants and all the wonderful attractions in Sarasota. We would definitely stay again.

Pro - the pool and pool deck are spacious, the view over the little pond is very nice. The house is equiped with all the necessaties (kitchen equipment, bordgames, dvd/book collection) Cons - the house is not well maintained, feels like the house was bought via a foreclosure some remodelling was done (floors, kichen) and then listed for rent. You dont make it a home just putting in some furniture and hang something on the wall. The house needs a fresh paint and the pooldeck needs to be cleaned. During our stay i removed 2 hornetnests, various old nest still visable. The house was not clean upon entrance, dust everywhere and ants in the kitchen. Would i return: No

Clean, Spacious, Great Outdoor Area
Our family of four (2 adults, 2 teenagers) loved this house. It was spacious, with huge bedrooms, nice kitchen and dinning room, not to mention the covered outside area. Also very clean, we’ve rented other houses with grills and we’ve never had one so clean, even the grilling utensils were like brand new, a major plus!! The pool and hot tub were also major bonuses when we didn’t feel like making the short trip to Siesta Key. One more thing to note, the owner/manager was great. Everything was detailed before we got there and then in a book when we did get there. My son forgot his backpack and another bag in the house when we left. I wrote the owner about this and he and his team had it packaged and sent to us the next day, with no complaints whatsoever. Overall, great experience and can’t wait to rent from them again!! Thanks.

Loved this quiet home and area! Few minutes from Siesta Keys!
We loved the home, wished there would have been another TV in the other bedroom! Manager was quick to address our concerns. Home was very clean! Only negatives: Paid extra for a heated pool but the timer was left on so it shut off at night, weather was cold so pool cooled down. Once the timer was turned off the pool finally warmed up enough to swim in on our last day! The Spa was the same. Also, make sure the manager knows to turn off the timer on water heater while guest are there. We only had enough hot water for 2 people to shower our first night! Other than that it was a great home!!

Convenient and comfortable but.....
The house was clean, comfortable, and convenient. The pool was lovely. To be truthful I would not describe the house as an "incredible villa" but it had all the comforts we needed. The response was quick and competent when we had issues with the cable and the washer. It was a nice visit.

Fantastic! Would recommend!
The house has everything you could possibly need! I would definitely stay again! We came for a girls weekend to relax. The beds were super comfy, the kitchen equipped, pool toys, grill (which we didn't use), there were even toiletries! There were games, movies, cds, etc. All stuff we didn't need, but certainly well equipped! Pool was lovely. ONLY downside was spa was the same temp as pool - would've been great if it was a "hot tub". Gracious host, lovely home. Five star stay, thank you!

Property was not bad could have used a little upkeep maintenance. Landscaping needed cleaned.
Inside of house was very nice enjoyed the large beds and walk in shower. Pool was nice but needed cleaned , we thought Tues was pool day and it would have been swept. Also pump timer did not work. Had to turn on by hand. Shame the house next door is in such poor condition.

Beautiful, peaceful pool home near everything!
The layout of the home is perfect for a family with kids. The pool was spectacular! The bench in the deep end was my favorite spot this vacation. Such a wonderful location! My son spent every free moment fishing in the backyard (caught many, many fish with bread balls!). We definitely hope to come back to this same home again as we come down every year. :)

Amazing place to stay
I rented this place with 2 friend . When we walked in we were very pleased to see the house looked exactly as posted. You have everything you need, I mean everything. All you need to do is go food shopping. Go to the house first and check the pantry before heading to the store. Plenty of seasonings, coffee filters, etc. We even left some behind a few staple things. I know you may not want to do laundry on vacation. Its nice to have the opportunity. Siesta Beach is 15 minuets away! If you get a chance go to Sharkey's in Venice only about 25 minutes away, the best sunset you will ever see!! We had a wedding reception to atten . Uber was a great ride. The owner is responsive. I would highly recommend a diary book for vacationers to write in and leave comments about their vacatio . It's nice to see what people have to say. I highly recommend this home for your vacation. Enjoy. Have super fun!

We(8 people) stayed there in May'16. Everything was as described at HomeAway.com. There was everything for our vocation. We enjoyed to swim in the pool and jacuzzi, to have a barbecue... The neighborhood was quiet. 15-20 min to Siesta Beach. The toilet paper finished at the middle of the stay and we sent a message to Artem. We got a delivery of it withing an hour. We almost don't have concerns about the house. Just a thing is: we saw a couple of cockroaches in the kitchen.

Beat the heat...pool side!
We were pleased to find a well maintained older home...with all the necessary amenities. Surprisingly quiet neighborhood of young families. The pool is a dream... A great way to beat the heat! The owner is responsive and quick to answer questions and stay in touch. We were very comfortable and would definitely stay again.
