Bathtub was blocked and had hair in drain and water was getting clogged in our room. Were getting late to leave so had to leave without shower and didn’t ask them to clean it.

The hotel was clean staff friendly and professional. Love how close to the Univeristy it is plus to shopping. Easy to get in and out of.

Rate was great - property is under renovation but gardens are full of weeds and the parking lot is under construction and doesnt have parking marked on the asphalt and foyer and entrance is bare and stark. Totally a low end hotel - despite a relatively excellent location on the main highway through Sault Ste Marie

I was worried about staying here after reading all the negative reviews but I was simply surprised how clean and comfortable the suites are. Staff are friendly and hassle free check in and out. They also give out bf bags which were perfect for the agaves train tours. I’ll definitely stay again if I visit The Soo.

We stayed here twice on a trip out west and return. Both times the room only had 1 chair to sit on ( reserved room for 2 travelers). Night 1 - The TV had no instructions on how to work it, The cupboard doors did not fit well. The Grab'n'Go breakfast is not up to the standards of competing hotels in the area. I do not care for yogurt or the bran muffins . That left me with a granola bar a juice box and a croissant. Night 2 - The manager after the 1 night had changed my room reservation from the 2nd floor to the 1st floor, Thank you very much. When we got to our room (2 travelers) again 1 chair, towels for 1 person, the outside back window was unlocked, the outside back door was unlocked, it took a good 5 minutes in the morning to get hot water. I noted this to the manager upon check-out. We will not be staying at this facility again on our future trips through the Soo.
