“Best Kept Secret!”
We went for my fiance's birthday, and traveled from California. We were stunned! The ambiance was lovely, the service was speedy, it was central to everything. We had a hot tub in our room, with sliding doors, which enabled us to enjoy the view of the city. Great value, you can't get more for your buck!
“Loved everything about it.”
It was our first time in Seattle and what a pleasant surprise. Pan Pacific is a great hotel, felt very European boutique-like. The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. Sea Star Restaurant which is attached to the hotel was absolutely wonderful. Loved that it was in a neighborhood, not necessarily in the most touristy area, but definitely a great location....easy to get to the Space Needle, EMP, Pike's Place, etc.... Our room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we hope to return again. We would highly recommend this hotel!
“Great hotel in a great location!!!”
My husband and I just got back from a four day/ three night trip to Seattle. It was our first time to visit this wonderful city, and our hotel choice was perfect! The hotel was very clean, and the rooms very comfortable. We lucked out as our room had two windows with fantastic views, one with the Space Needle and Denny Park that was beautiful!!! My husband and I also appreciated that the hotel used different energy saving techniques: they only replenished towels when requested; the AC's thermostat was on a motion detector... One major bonus was the hotel's location. Seattle has a monorail Streetcar that goes from Westlake Light Rail Station all the way north just east of Lake Union and one of the stops is in front of the hotel!!! This made commuting around the city unbelievably easy. We were able to take the Light Rail from the airport to Westlake, walk two blocks, and then take the Streetcar to the hotel- perfect!!! The hotel is also located, literally, above a Whole Foods Market so we were able to stock up on snacks or have breakfast before we headed out in to the city. We really enjoyed our stay, and intend to return as soon as we are able!!!
“I'd Stay Again”
We liked the hotel. Friendly staff. Convenient enough location to get to our other destinations.
“Above average hotel with below average service”
Hotel was overall aesthetically pleasing with fairly modern/shiek decor. Conveniently located above Whole Foods, attached to a few nice restaurants and other retail stores. Right across the street is a tram stop that takes you straight to Downtoan Seattle (just a two minute ride away). Customer service seemed to be the only thing missing from this 4-star hotel. We got differing responses to the same question on several occasions. And good luck trying to get a smile. Customer service, to me, could be summed up with one word...complacent.
“vibrant city”
Elegant hotel, everything was nearly perfect. Nearly means 95%. Elegant details from the bathrobe to the marble bath. Not so great was the lack of Taxis on a rainy Sat. Night. Most 4 star hotels in big cities have not just one town car but also car or limo companies standing by on call.
“Fell in love with the Pan Pacific”
This hotel deserves every single one of the stars its gotten!! The hotel is just gorgeous. It has a wonderful vibe. Not too stuffy and just enough class. The staff is insanely nice, being a born and raised new Yorker, this came as a delighted treat to be surrounded by so many genuinely nice people. Our room was just gorgeous. I was only disappointed with our view. Expedia guaranteed us a direct view of the space needle and we didn't get that. It was somewhat in our view but not the way we expected. Room service was prompt and not too over priced. Cleaning staff was top notch. All the hotel amenities were icing on the cake. Deep bathtub, beautiful stand up shower, super comfy bed( I mean it, it was so hard to wake up! !) All in all, I would stay here again. Its not very far from all that action. And we were able to walk to pikes place and the shopping district. It was not bad at all. Seattle isn't a huge city. U can definitely stay at Pan Pacific and be pampered! !
“Wonderful and great hotel near downtown”
There was nothing missing from this location. It could not have been better.
“Great stay!”
I have stayed at the Pan Pacific several times. I recommend it.
“Enjoyed our stay”
The Pan Pacific is a bit off the beaten path but offers a great stay. We didn't have the best view at check in and the front desk was nice enough to move us to better rooms to accommodate our week long stay at no additional charge. I thought the service was great and my only complaint was the pillows - too squishy for me. It is a little out of the way and can be a long walk back after a day of exploring the city but if you are up for a good walk it isn’t too far from the shopping and downtown area. The car service is nice when available. Parking is pricy but you seem to get that at each hotel in the area. Having the Whole Foods downstairs was a nice convenience. Shops in the area don’t open until 11 am and close around 7 pm so you might miss those if you get going early. Overall it was a nice stay and worth the few extra dollars we spent.
