The Dining RoomPosted Aug 7, 2014
Pros: It was OK
Cons: The dining room!
Location: Overlooking the pool.
We chose, after a long drive to get there, to eat at the hotel in their own dining room. That was a disaster! We arrived at 7 pm on Sunday night. No one told us they were officially closed, but instead seated the 9 of us in the bar with the bartender as our waiter. We waited one hour for our food! Then the empty water glasses remained empty! The coffee was delivered cold and when we mentioned it, they brought us a full pot - also cold. When asked about desserts, he said they could be delivered immediately - 20 minutes to deliver desserts which we were told were being "plated"....the slowest plates in town. They should have just said they didn't want any more customers and let us drive to town and eat in a timely fashion. All together our dinner took almost 3 hours! Don't go there! When we complained to the manager the next day - he said they had talked about it - No satisfaction was offered!

Great Location and propertyPosted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: The property is very well maintained and beautiful. We had a nice patio on the golf course that was a nice view.
Cons: Maybe a little better lighting in the bathroom areas and the beds could possibly use an upgrade.
Location: The property is close to great hiking, Bell Rock and just a few minute drive from Uptown. It is easy to access West Sedona.
The resort is in a great location for a little more privacy, but still just a short drive to Uptown. The property is very nice with the golf course and tennis courts. The grounds are very well maintained and even though from the outside it may look a little old, the rooms have been upgraded enough to make them very pleasing.

Poco Diablo StayPosted Jul 20, 2014
Cons: Families with children should be located together. Children yelling and screaming in the early morning hours is very disruptive.
Location: Uptown Sedona. Chapel of the Holy Cross. Trolley Tours. Jeep Tours. Art Galleries. Shopping.
It was comfortable for most of the stay. We went there to relax and rejuvenate. In the early morning hours we were disturbed by children running by our room, screaming and yelling, and hitting the rod iron fence with sticks. Not what I was hoping for.

Excellent location to view all naturals attractions. It's close to up town, the chapel of holly cross and the cathedral rock.

Hiking, Star gazing, JeepingPosted May 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
Hotel room wasn't as shown as advertised on Hotels.com when I booked. Front desk was wonderful and moved us since there was availability. Great hotel. We would stay there again.
