"The Lulu hotel is a great place to stay if you are passing through silver city. It is on the main road in to town. You do need a car to get to the historic downtown area. The staff were courteous, making checking in and out super easy. The rooms have recently been renovated and have a very retro feel. My only suggestion would be to up grade their linens! The bedding seemed old and the towels very worn. Otherwise it was a great stay! "

"This hotel is great for outdoor folks, and hunters. We were on a family trip. It's a little beat up but clean. I would say if you are higher maintenance then this hotel is not for you. This is more for folks who are used to "county" style settings where hikers, bikers, and sportsmen have stayed and played. It could use a little TLC but was very clean."
