Great property in a quiet, off the beaten path neighborhood. We loved swimming after hiking and golfing. They had the pool warmed and it felt great. We would definitely stay here again.

The house wasn't very clean and a lot of the lighting and electronics didn't work. It is on a good neighborhood but there is no on street parking! The host also has some pretty strict checking out instructions, like all pool towels had to be washed or they would charge more

Great host, house not so much
Leading up to the trip and checking in was easy, JP the host was great, but the house was not. Upon arrival the first thing we noticed was the main living room fan was bent over and literally hanging by a thread and inoperable, same thing for all of the other fans besides the master. All of the faucets, bathroom handles, toilets etc are very loose and need to be maintained. The furnace filters were so dirty that the AC units ran non stop and would only cool to 72 degrees which was not enough when it was 108 outside. The house itself is very beat up, the baseboards were covered in red dirt, the carpet is crunchy, the beds need new linens etc. When we arrived the pool was very low on water and not filtering so it was cloudy. I had to put the house in for 5 hours to raise water levels to filter and make it swimmable. I also had to wash down the entire pool deck as it was covered in red dirt and cobwebs and my 10 month old daughter would get philthy crawling around. The management company gave us a measly credit for all of these issues. Overall, 2 stars only because the host tried hard and was responsive.

We have stayed in the neighborhood before so we knew the location was what we wanted. I booked and was easy to book. A week before we were to check in I luckily reviewed the property details and realized if you wanted the pool to be heated it was an extra fee, so that is fine as it says that in the listing. So about 5 days before check in I sent a request through their app to please have the pool heated so upon arrival it would be warm. The day before arrival I sent another message to follow up about the pool because I had not heard back, still no reply. So upon arrival the pool was not heated, yet I finally get a message about the cost to heat it etc and i had to them confirm the charge was okay so they would heat it. So we lost a day of swimming because it was too cold to swim in without it being heated. Their communication was a day behind, and they asked for 72 hours notice which I gave a lot more than that without any response from them. Upon arrival the home smelled very bad, like a mix of coffee and overused cleaning supplies or something. We had to go buy a candle and lit it full time while we were there to get past the smell. The pictures of the pool area show 6 chairs and 3 loungers, which would have been great. However there were only 4 regular chairs and there were no lounge chairs. For having a pool it would be nice to be able to lay out on them instead of the cement. The pool net to clean the pool out was there, but it was torn almost fully off the handle so you couldn’t really scoop leaves and other stuff out of the pool from being blown in. The house itself was clean overall. Furniture in the pics is different from what is in the house, not necessarily a big deal but it’s not as advertised. One of the windows in the kids bunk room was unlocked as we checked it before going to bed the first night. Kindof unsettling in an unknown neighborhood and having your kids in a new place. It also says that upon checkout that all windows are to be locked etc. so they obviously don’t check themselves for what they ask you to do. Overall we were not happy with the stay as it was not as advertised, especially the pool area which is why we chose this unit in the first place. They ended up getting the pool heated but a day late which was a bummer as we were only there a few days and the kids wanted to swim everyday, and I believe they actually charged me more than the daily fee for that, I just haven’t yet followed up to discuss.

Hard to Get a Hold of
This property is beautiful and looks as advertised aside from minor scuffs, chips and cracks. However, the pool cover would not retract so we could not use the pool. I found it difficult to get a hold of the property manager to report this issue. After sending a couple emails, leaving a voice-mail and a text message, I resorted to writing directly to Evolve. It was at that point that the Property Manager replied to my emails. Our contact came out the following morning and said he'd call someone to come repair the cover. I followed up later that evening with a text message to ask if he was able to have someone come out but he did not respond to me. Instead he responded to my husband who also sent a message. From that point on all communication went through my husband but even that was touch and go. Since Evolve had responded to my original inquiry, I sent a follow-up email to let them know what was happening. After some time of not hearing from the PM (Property Manager), my husband reached out again and the PM said he hadn't replied because we had contacted Evolve. He said he would help us out and try to get us a refund, hoping to hear from them soon. If you are planning to stay hear for the pool, don't bank on it. I planned my entire vacation around having access to this private pool and that backfired. Not a good time to not have access to water especially in triple digit weather! Luckily, Quail Creek is a short distance away and that made up for one of the days we lost at the pool.

Awesome getaway place
This house was the perfect place for us to hang out and play for a long weekend. We loved the outdoor pool, and had a blast playing ping-pong and pool inside. We roller-skated through the neighborhood which was great. Plenty of places to go with good sidewalks and flat areas. We played laser tag through the house which was so much fun! The layout of the house was perfect! Such a fun time!!

Nice vacation rental home
The home is a nice vacation rental home near Sand hallow. The beds were good and wifi worked well. The big TV in the front living area allowed for casting from Apple or Android devices. This is really nice for it allows one to use their own accounts to watch shows. The pool table was very much enjoyed.

My family and I enjoyed the heated saltwater pool. Communication could be a bit improved as I believed from what I was told that the pool would be heated by the time I arrived. It was not but I was able to turn it on and heat it not a big deal. The house was clean and suitable for the 10 people that stay there. We didn’t use the kitchen much as we ate out most of the time so we don’t know how stocked it is.

What a great home ! First time my parents experienced a mini get away and they were so happy! The home is spacious enough for 7 adults and 3 little kids ! They loved the pool and enjoyed that it was private especially during this covid-19 pandemic. We loved the location , literally near sand hollow state park, 40 minutes from Zion and 2 hours from Bryce Canyon ... truly had a wonderful family vacation ! Thank you so much !

We loved the property. The home is spacious and is set up very well to entertain. Our kids absolutely loved the pool. the actual owners of the property were great to work with. We would 100% stay here again. The owners were very quick to help us through a few little issues, but I believe the issues were more so on Evolve Vacation Rentals. That being said, if you pay for pool heating, I would double check that Evolve actually communicates that to the property owner. We lost a day and a half of swimming because the water was only 64 degrees. Once the property owners found out they jumped on it immediately and got it taken care of, but again, I would double check and make sure Evolve communicates that to them.

Could have been better.
We stay in a lot of VRBO's and in looking at the pictures for this property, our expectations were high. Unfortunately, upon arrival, you can see a lot of wear and tear in the house that is not obvious in the pictures. We spent the first evening cleaning and organizing the kitchen. There were chunks of food in the lower cabinets that had to be vacuumed out, the kitchen and bath mats had ground in dirt, there were food particles on cutlery and some of the pots and pans. The living room furniture is worn and torn in areas and needs to be replaced. It's not very inviting to relax in the evening on what was once a white leather couch that is now grey-ish. There was a grease fire when we started up the bbq that was coated in residue and the spare cylinder was empty. There isn't an outdoor dining table, which is unfortunate as the evenings were very comfortable for dining outside. Overall, the house could use a DEEP cleaning and at this price point, this house should be in much better condition. Other than that, the bed was comfortable and there is a pool.
