St. Leonard Vacations
While it may be tempting to just chill out when visiting St. Leonard, don't forget, New Brunswick's diverse scenic wonders are never more than a day trip away. Journey 12 miles (19 kilometers) northwest to Grand Falls, where you can visit the Commission Des Chutes and De La Gorge and Grand Falls Golf Club.
About 25 miles (40 kilometers) to the northwest of St. Leonard is Edmundston, a regional center where you go see Edmundston Madawaska Tourism Office, Fraser Edmunston Golf Club and Ski Mont Farlagne. New Brunswick Botanical Garden and Les Jardins de la Republique Provincial Park are just a sample of the many other visitor attractions on offer here.
For a low-cost outdoors activity that the whole family will enjoy, take the time to check out the region's open-air museums. If the weather forecast makes you want to stay indoors, spend some time in New Brunswick's art museums, nature museums and history museums.
Have some fun in New Brunswick's waterways with a spot of fishing or sea kayaking. Mix education and relaxation on your travels by spending time with a knowledgeable guide on one of St. Leonard's excellent city walking tours, wildlife spotting tours and guided nature walks.
