Lovely hotel minutes from Circular quay.Posted Sep 29, 2014
Stayed for 2 nights at the Amora hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was lovely and even had a view of the Opera House. Only fault being that if you did want to watch telly you couldn't see it from the bed due to the doors of the TV unit, we didn't watch any so it was no big deal. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable and would definitely stay again.

Central but overpricedPosted Sep 28, 2014
Pros: Central for business purposes while within walking distances to good restaurants nearby. Concierge staff SUPERB. Reasonably priced car service
Cons: Breakfast area.
Location: Restaurants and within walking distance to Botonical Gardens and The Rocks area
Hotel being renovated. Some bedrooms are redone, others not. Staff are not used to international standards or business expectations; strictly a local clientele. Breakfast room more like a cafeteria while charging high end prices. In any case prices are very high in Australia everywhere compared to global pricing. Book via search engine as rack rates too high compared to other better hotels in area.

Pros: Really good value, Location was great as we were walking a lot around circular key, the rocks and botanic gardens, close to great restaurants
Lovely rooms with great new bathrooms, clean and has everything you need. Bonus harbour glimpses from room which was not expected.

Great Hotel in Financial DistrictPosted Sep 20, 2014
This is a really nice hotel. I stayed in a "Corner King" room on the 22nd floor..Super Awesome. The Concierge named "Elliott" was a huge help.

Great hotel close to everything.Posted Sep 19, 2014
Pros: Location, spacious rooms, variety of restaurants & bars.
Cons: Some things need to be improved- I didn't get the newspaper requested on check in, the ironing board was unstable, the security card was temperamental
Location: Location was fabulous - 10 minutes walk from Circular Quay, the Harbour Bridge, the Opera House, the QV building, Westfield Centre.
I recently stayed at Amora on Jamison & found it to be a great hotel - spacious & comfortable rooms, helpful staff, great facilities & fabulous location. I noticed that there were a lot of conferences being conducted at the hotel during my short stay there so I gather the conference facilities are good.

An elegant hotel close to the hub of The RocksPosted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Proximity to The Rocks district, the ambience, the friendly staff and the delicious breakfast
Cons: nothing of note
Location: Plenty of great pubs and resturants
I took my husband for a night at the Jamison Amora for his birthday. From the outset the staff were helpful, the room was immaculate and the bath was fantastic, so much so that we had 2!

Not 5 StarPosted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Location as it was within walking distance to everything in the CBD.
Cons: The hotel should be properly rated.
Location: Location was the best thing about the hotel.
This hotel was centrally located to Circular Quay and the CBD, however it is definitely not a 5 start hotel. We booked the hotel for our 30th wedding anniversary so we wanted something special. Unfortunately we were left disappointed, particularly when compared to other 5 star hotels in the area.
