"Location: Excellent, on Ortigia island but close to mainland. Near open air market & many good restaurants. Facilities: Common areas are superb & luxurious. Room is OK, not great. Bathroom too small, especially shower, which also leaks after each use. Service: At breakfast, service is excellent. Housekeeping is OK, sometimes good, sometimes a bit off. Food: Judging from breakfast, restaurant probably very good. In conclusion: If the bathroom was larger and better, it would truly be a 5-star...

"This is probably the best hotel my husband and I have ever stayed. I have written many reviews and never have I ever had the pleasure to write such a glowing compliment about a place we have stayed . We spent only one night here, but we have been overwhelmed by the hospitality of the hotel staff . We were greeted by Giuseppe at the front desk who upgraded us to a suite and very kind. "Lovely sea view. Quiet pedestrian street. Very spacious"

"Room was missing details for a 4 star hotel. Did not have a coffee maker or kettle in the room. Had to ask reception to provide us with two normal glasses and a coffee cups. Smell of damp in the bathroom but other then that room was clean. Breakfast not enough staff to cater for restaurant size. Items take too long to be replace when finished . Indoor pool needs to be warmer as was cold ."

"The hotel is really well located for Noto and Syracuse. The car parking is great. The public spaces are big. We were given a large room with a balcony. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel and grounds were well maintained. Lots of coffee at breakfast!"
