"Lovely location, hotel is tired but comfortable, cosy and we slept well in a comfy king size bed, everything you need was in the room, iron, hairdryer, kettle etc Breakfast pretty average but chaotic, staff were not coping well with clearing , re setting tables,and keeping buffet topped up even though time slots were booked for breakfast, customers, including myself were getting agitated at the lack of organisation and requests for missing items on table and buffet were not reacted to quickly or...

"It was our first stay in the Lake District and we couldn’t have picked a better hotel. We were very pleased with its location on the lake and its very near proximity to the lake cruises. The facilities are excellent which includes everything from the reception, through to the bars and restaurants. The staff were very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us."
