"House has everything you need. We were gone most days from sunrise to sunset. Was nice to get back to a cozy quiet place. If you hit a sunny day take a drive to Hurricane Ridge or Mt Rainier. Also don’t miss Salmon cascades if salmon are running. Well worth the drive. Head down to the lake and watch the sunset to end your day. Joni was quick to respond to any of our questions."

"Loved the property and neighborhood. Tons of character in the cabin and lots of room. We went to do some hiking at ONP and the proximity was great. It’s a gorgeous area and in January very quiet and peaceful. The house has a cozy room with a fireplace for family games and a big room upstairs for movies and games. We loved the retro vibe! We’d love to come back with other family members for a group stay!"

"This is our second time staying at this property, and it was just as enjoyable this time. Everything was clean, easy to find/use, and comfortable. Last time we visited, there were thick trees covering the driveway and entrance area, making it difficult to find easily. This time, those were all gone and it was much easier to find the driveway and see the road to turn out. Beautiful views of the harbor…this is a great spot. Jason is a very considerate and communicative host!"

"What an amazing VRBO. Lake Cushman is absolutely beautiful and this house is designed to showcase the beauty of the area. Tons of things to do in the house, arts and crafts, tons of DVDs, walking sticks, umbrellas, even a rain jacket and robes. We loved having access to the kayaks (bring proper gear as the water is very cold), the kitchen is all upgraded with very nice appliances as with the bathrooms. "The house was amazing. You could see the Sound from the front windows and just a short walk down the trail and you are there. The small garden was very nice and accessible. I was working throughout the week but my wife loved every minute we had there. Any time we return to the area we will be staying here if it's available."

And it was closw to the road, not very private and not a clear set up for access to and from the house. Wish there was a tv in the bedrooms to enjoy a movie. But we had a lovely time."

"It was a short stay, but it was easy check-in and check-out. The hosts were kind and supportive. The RV was spacious (including the bathroom), easy to get around in and had everything I could need. I had to drive back down to town for about 5 minutes to get service to call for to ask how to turn them off. The outside area needed power washed badly. "My family wanted to have a mini-reunion but not saddle anyone with hosting. So we picked this large house roughly between us to have a brief get together. It is a beautiful house in a beautiful setting. Very peaceful and remote. The one minor complaint I would have is dealing with the gate to access the property. It is locked shut with a big chain that has two locks on it and I found it confusing and hard to deal with. But once on the property, it is beautiful and serene. Highly recommended if...

"Our 3rd visit - to relax and enjoy the lake front getaway. How often can you make everybody happy? Smiles from the teenager (Kayak and swim is next, no time to text). Smiles from the wife (read/take in the rays/sun), Smiles from the dog (walks/room to run). Heck even dad was caught smiling (coffee/and a view, eve on the dock w a brew)…."
