Small updated expensive 2 night stay

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Expensive for 2 night stay $600.°°. Small room. But everything was updated to flat screen on the wall, cordless phone, portable a/c. Toilets and sinks were tiny. Hard to face wash before bed. Wouldnt stay again or recomend friends/ family.

Cons: Upon arrival, they charged a $30 extra person fee AND a $30 extra bed fee. This really made the price of the room expensive.
Booked room for 2 adults and 3 children for one night in Vancouver.

Good Location

Posted Jul 17, 2015
Easy to reach all attractions. Check in was straightforward. One lift available to service all four floors, can get busy at peak times. Air conditioning unit in room which was required at times as very hot in Vancouver in July. Our room was small but clean, bed was comfortable, TV available with a range of channels, wasn't in room very often so didn't have it on. Shower was disappointing, warm but nowhere near powerful enough. Struggled to rinse shampoo out of hair. Hate that! Coffee maker in room great but were not given enough pods. Had to ask for more, felt like Oliver Twist! There is a 7/11 next door that you can get coffee from but always poor souls begging outside. Didn't like going on my own. Wouldn't have had to if we we given enough coffee pods but didn't want to ask reception all the time. I do like a caffeine fix in the morning and a nice coffee as I'm planning the next day! Bikes available for use free of charge. Bottled water, one for each person per day free in fridge. Ice and a water cooler in reception.

Just what I needed

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: Little noisy by the Hospital, didn't catch any of that
Cons: Maybe the Courtyard area could be a little more enviting. Seemed kind of all over the place.
Location: 5 minute walk to Robson St.
Just had the 1 night stay and was more of a sleep over but room was clean, front desk was friendly no complaits

Clean, basic, close to things

Posted Jul 13, 2015
The room was spotlessly clean, beds very comfortable, rugs outside the rooms to reduce noise from other guests. Right downtown, close to everything. Parking, please note, was and extra $28 a night, and they charged $30 for a 3rd person, which I thought was a bit excessive. Staff was very nice.

This hotel is an oasis in a very busy downtown.

Posted Jul 10, 2015
Pros: The decor and vibe is spot on. This hotel is very well designed hip and cozy. The staff are all friendly and genuine. We will stay here again
Cons: nothing
Location: The location is excellent if you want to shop Granville St. Or if you want to visit different parts of Vancouver, very central and transit is easy,

There is one very nice woman at the front desk. Unfortunately, I had to talk to two different male front desk employees during my stay and both were terribly rude, and I'm not sure why because I wasn't complaining or anything like that. Air conditioning incredibly loud on a very hot night. Overall, there are so many other hotels in the area to choose from, I would not recommend this one.

Not your common downtown hotel experience

Posted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: location staff
Cons: air conditioning
Location: Stanley Park, Granville Island, shopping galore
Loved the fact this hotel was different from the major hotel chains. Great to step outside of the hotel room into the outside and view of a beautiful courtyard. Room was a little small and the AC unit was very noisy. Great location could walk any where in 20 minutes. staff were excellent, well informed, pleasant and always wanting to help. Free use of bikes and access to a local gym were great added perks. j
