comfortable night

Posted Oct 22, 2014
Pros: location
Cons: For the price we paid, even though supposedly good rate, it was a bit high for the space of the unit!
Location: location central but good inexpensive eating places not too available. Found out next a.m. that Davie street had some more choices
centrally located but an uphill walk with luggage from skytrain! Just overnight before going cruising but a good sleep

Just as described -small but comfortablE, clean

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: The hotel staff was friendly the rooms were clean and there was a quaint garden in the center. It was centrally located close to shopping and restaura
Cons: The room tended to be quite warm during the daytime and could use air-conditioning
Location: The hotel is close to Robson Street and some really good restaurants as well as a short drive to Stanley Park
Check I was easy . Staff were polite and helpful, parking was easy, but expensive ( the security and convenience were worth the extra cost). The room was clean but small. And air conditioner would've been good. Nicely located was shopping Close by. I would recommend this hotel as of what I lack in the room size it made up for in design.

Nice place, good staffs, location is good, can walk to Stanley park and Canada place. I lost my room card, when I check out, the staff said "that's ok" and let me go!

Cons: The courtyard music came on loudly at 9am, enough to hear it clearly through our closed door. Maybe turn down the volume in the AM
Awesome central location, friendly staff and easy to grab breakfast at the cafe downstairs

Good value, clean, comfy & stylish but……….

Posted Oct 8, 2014
Cons: The bathroom sink was very small and lacked glasses or beakers to stand toothbrushes.
I found the Burrard good value. It was clean, comfortable and stylish in a great location for seeing Vancouver: I'd definitely stay there again. The only negative was occassional traffic related noise which woke me a couple of times (our room looked onto Burrard Street).

Great Value in the Heart of the city!

Posted Oct 2, 2014
I booked two rooms in this hotel for, one for the model and one for the Makeup artist who came to town to work on a photoshoot. The first thing that attracted me to this hotel was the price-it is one of the least expensive options that were available! Second, in general a boutique style hip hotel is more out style anyway so it seemed like a good fit, and it was! I personally went to the rooms to see if they looked like they did in the pictures and they did. They were bright, clean and modern chic. If I were staying here, the Nespresso machine would have been a huge hit! We still all met in the cafe for breakfast and if you have one thing there it would be any if the It's To Die For Banana Bread or Lemon Loaf (I live close by and I admit sometimes I go just for that!) The only thing one of my guests told me was that her particular room on the second floor was facing Burrard Street and the street light was prominently shining in the room which was annoying. But the model said it was the best sleep she ever had in a hotel and she has travelled the world! So all in all, they were both happy with their stay! I would highly recommend it and would definitely book there again for and future guests or colleagues coming to town!

Good economy hotel

Posted Sep 21, 2014
Pros: Location, decor
Cons: Bed & room stuffiness
Location: Close to everything
Nice staff, great location. Clean. Shortcomings: stuffy as windows have limited play and bed wY too soft for my taste. That said, I would go back.
