I loved this hotel, the room was tastefully decorated in understated provencale style and very comfortable.
The pool and pool area were lovely and there was also a shady little spotvto sit under some olive trees. The gardens were attractive and well maintained. It's on the edge of town with views over the town and countryside. It is around 1.5 km walk to Centre Ville, but uphill on theway back, so some people might prefer to drive this.
I found my stay relaxing and delightful. The management and staff were friendly and helpful.

"Beautiful Chateau in Middle of French Countryside"
We drove from Paris to Cote du sud. We wanted to have a stay in the French Countryside before reaching the coast. We chose this beautiful hotel near Avignon. We had a marvelous experience in this Chateau Hotel. Beautiful historic place. ALl very unique and authentic. It is a well worth experience to have something different from the typical big hotel brands. The French Countryside is a great place to visit. It is important to consider having a car rental while yo move in the French countryside.

"Amzaing room decoration and maxed out Avante Garde style"
Not for the prudish. The semi-nude photos will offend the very conservative unless seen in the light of the homage to the arts, fashion and culture that the hotel is. The gardens are a delight and very Provence. You feel you are in a very unique and very French experince.
Our room featured Marilon Monroe with a 3D wall hanging of her in the masetr bedroom, with detail down to a specialised ,labeled CD in the sound system of music of her era . We found the art in the room sensual and apprpriate in the context of the hotel. We have 2 young girls and had no concerns about the style at all. But some censorship may be required on some of the books in the library and at reception.
Nothing was too much trouble. When we sat outside to watch the sunset blankets were brought for our comfort without request, room service was more like a restaurant meal served in the unit and the architecture of the common areas is comforting and evocative at the same time.
Great value for families as we had 2 separate bedrooms and a full kitchen hidden behind the disguised cupboards.
In 5 years when word gets out and they have the wrinkles out this will be a unique and vetry upmarket must see venue.
Not stodgy and conservative and always very, very interesting

"If you do not know anyone in Provence, this is as close as you will come."
This is a lovely inn in a beautiful setting near Avignon. The owner and her son, the chef run a friendly, impeccably appointed inn very close to Avignon and Chateau Neuf des Papes wineries. We tried the fixed prix dinner the first evening with the thought that we would go elsewhere other evenings, but decided that we could do no better than the dinner at the inn.
