Amazing views
Wish we had come earlier in the season. We came in the fall and missed the weather to enjoy eating a meal on the deck. Beautiful view that included 4 lakes! Very comfortable and clean ‘home away from home’. Recommend it as a couple or family place to stay.

Great location and hosts
We enjoyed a great long weekend at the suite. Everything was ready for our arrival and our hosts were very helpful. The suite is located perfectly whether you want to spend time in Silverstar, in Vernon or down at the lakeside.

A View From Above
Lorne and Lindsay have a fabulous space in Vernon. Their attention to detail has everything you require plus more at this beautiful suite. We were in town for a family Celebration of Life and their place was a peaceful oasis to come home to. Gorgeous views will greet you along with a couple of friendly retrievers if you're lucky. We highly recommend booking the Guthrie's space for your accommodation needs in Vernon and area. Hoping to come back for some vacay time soon. Cheers

Great location, even better place. Well equipped and up-to-date. Spotless and very well kept place. You cannot beat the view from the dedicated patio for the suite. Owners are awesome and easy to deal with. Highly recommend and we will be back.

The property was beautiful. The host was friendly and accommodating.
Sadly the location showed much closer to where our retreat was so it added an hour onto each day. Other than that it provides everything we needed including the most spectacular view. I highly recommend if you are looking to hang in Vernon area!

This is a great place for family or a small company to stay in Vernon, Canada. A view from top of the hill is outstanding. The property is new and super clean. It has everything that is needed for travelers. I would hightly recommend this place.

Amazing views, very close to downtown Vernon. The Owners and their 2 dogs are very friendly, basement suite has everything you need. One minor suggestion would be to add blackout curtains in the main bedroom to allow renters the option to sleep in as the sun rises early in the summer. Cheers from Calgary.

Great spot in Vernon
This property is an excellent place to access Silverstar and Vernon, and has a great patio to relax on and enjoy the view after biking or skiing. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. I'll be looking to return next year.

We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely rent here again. Pros: - Very clean - Spectacular view - Spacious, nicely decorated, a very beautiful home overall - 15 minutes from silver star - Easy check in - Thoughtfully equipped - it had everything we could possibly need and more - Comfortable beds - Quiet Cons - Nothing really. But if we had one suggestion, it would be to change out some of the cooler-hued bulbs in the lamps and replace them with warmer tones. Super minor but would make it even cozier.

Spacious, well-equipped and comfortable suite in the Foothills, with spectacular views of the mountains and lakes in the region. Check-in was simple and the owner was helpful with information on the region. I'd recommend this suite to anyone visiting the area.

Everything about this rental was perfect. Stunning view from the private patio! Incredibly clean and stocked with everything you need. Quiet area. Easy access to Silver Star, lakes and Town. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend it to anyone travelling to Vernon.

In town for our son's wedding, so were looking for a quiet retreat from the chaos that was still close to the venue. This suite was perfect. Impeccably styled, super clean, and with a view that is truly spectacular, especially in the evening. Hosts are charming and friendly (thanks for the tip on the back roads to the venue). The best VRBO property we have ever stayed at and highly recommended to any travelers to the area.

If you are looking for a place that is quiet, clean and well laid out this is place. The view is spectacular from morning to night. The hosts are more then accommodating and are very responsive. We will certainly stay again Next time we are in the area.

Super 2 bed basement suite with all you need for a comfortable few days. Ours was a busy trip so we didn’t have time to sit on the private patio and enjoy the views or use the bbq. The unit was squeaky clean and comfortable and I wouldn’t hesitate to return - unless it was in the winter in which case i’d be a bit nervous about winter weather and the hill up to the home.

We loved this place. Very clean, modern with everything you need. It is 12 minutes away from Kal Beach and 15 from Silverstar. Owners are very friendly and responding prompt if you have a question . Our son loved their two dogs! Recomending !

This home is in a very nice area, with beautiful views and immaculate presentation. The home owner was very pleasant and easy to approach if needed. The rooms were of nice size, and amenities in the home were great. The location is a bit out of town, but great for a closer spot to the ski hill.

This property is new, on the east side hills of Vernon and overlooks all 3 lakes in the area. It is a beautiful view location. The owners are available and are there if you need help with anything. It is about a 10 minute drive down into Vernon main area. You do need transportation to get to this location (vehicle), but no problem and well worth the short drive. The owners have 2 very friendly dogs, that are no issue. They like to visit if you are sitting our back. I love dogs so not a problem, but may be a problem for people that are not dog people. I would highly recommend this property, and will stay here ourselves in the future when visiting Vernon.
