"I rolled in late on my motorcycle and it was raining and was unaware that there was no staff there to greet and tend to me. So wet and cold i had to call where off-site someone texted me a code to get into my room. I was not familiar with this type of check in and maybe i just needed a hot shower and was cranky but nevertheless was expecting to be greeted by someone and the property is not well lighted late at night when everything is closed. So lower expectations if you are like me."

"We spent last night in New Orleans, so we were SO happy to get to Gulf Port and find a nice clean town and a spotlessly clean hotel. The gentleman who checked us in was fantastic. He gave us a tour of the property and made sure we were all settled in. On a 10 scale, I give The Almanett a 12!!!"

"My family loved the place! Already planning another vacation and using this spot as a possible base to travel to different things within a couple of hours. Beds was great communication was great. Only down fall was the mosquitoes. We bought some citronella candles and was able to enjoy the deck the 2nd evening. We wanted quiet with a lil nature and still close to town. That’s exactly what we got. Great place!"
