"The house was clean and had all of the amenities one could want. The kitchen was fully stocked and all the desired appliances were available. The hot tub was in perfect order and heated when we arrived. Check in and check out was painless. Proximity to restaurants and the mountain was perfect. We had a great time!"

"This is our second time staying at Baernhaus- it has become our go-to place to stay in Government Camp. Clean, sleek, modern but very cozy. Perfect location- short 1 block walk to Govy, yet completely private setting, elevated in the trees. Nice separation of bedrooms from common areas. Bedroom arrangement better suited for families but workable for couples. Definitely staying here again!"

I’ve never had a VRBO without a washer/dryer…5 days of teens with wet ski clothes became a problem. Busy weekend so house was not ready when expected. Would rent again if laundry was accessible!!"

"Our trip to Sandy, OR was for my niece’s wedding. The view from the back of the house was absolutely spectacular!! We would suggest a stronger internet service. With two teenagers and two adults trying to work remotely, it was a struggle. The kitchen could use additional basic supplies and cookware. These sound like complaints, but they are merely suggestions. We opted for eating out most meals and enjoying the surroundings! We would definitely stay in this VRBO again!! Thank you!"

"My husband and I had such a lovely stay at this cabin. It was so relaxing and everything was super clean and well-stocked. Our only complaint was the neighbor’s kids were kicking up a bunch of dirt into the air while riding on ATVs one day, but that’s not the owner’s fault. We would definitely be back!"

Only the very last section is not paved and has massive pot holes, but it's not a long stretch. It was good for two people. It's plenty of space, and there's plenty of room for dining, but I personally would prefer more comfy seating in the living room- there's plenty of space for it. "This is cute little cabin in the pretty Oregon backdrop. It is accurate in it's description. My girlfriend and I stayed for four days and enjoyed every bit. We did run into a few issues easily overcome, the back room breaker tripped due to the loading from heaters and lights being on at night. The electric fireplace did not want to work with us so we used the wood stove instead. There was plenty of wood, just needed kindling to get it started.
