"This may be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. First of all, I love history and so you are staying where King Charles II had his castle. Secondly, the breakfast was amazing. Third, the rooms had beautiful chandeliers with high ceilings. And finally the wellness area had a lovely sauna room. The hotel was so close to all the picturesque spots. We will be back!"

"It was a great experience from check in to check out. Very friendly staff and my wife and I really enjoyed the elegance/ambiance. Excellent location too. Busy during the day due to the day trippers, but quiets down substantially after 5pm. Highly recommend."
