Superb Hotel & Staff

10 out of 10 for Service from the moment we arrived until we left. All staff very friendly and very helpful. Room, including the bathroom, was absolutely spotless best we have seen. Will definitely, and have already done so, recommend a stay here to Friends & Family. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to to return for a longer stay.

Too many seagulls

Posted Aug 6, 2012
Location: The Seal was in an excellent location near to the village and shops and not too far from the sea
It was a very nice room, clean and comfortable. Unfortunately there was a skylight window and when it rained the noise was thunderous, as also was the noise when the seagull s "tap;danced" on it most of the night. We had dinner in the restaurant and unfortunately I had to send back my belly of pork (black and overdone) but this was replaced immediately by the very courteous and friendly staff. I think if we had had a different room we would have slept better. The breakfast was very good.

Weekend at The Seal - May 2012

Posted May 14, 2012
Pros: Staff and food
Cons: View
Location: Not the most interesting immediate location but out of the way of hustle and bustle and the sea is a short walk away. Lots of restaurants near-by.
Friendly welcome on arrival. Excellent room (103) with huge bathroom. View non-existant but unavoidable. The room was clean and had everything I would expect. We had dinner in the restaurant, the menu was interesting and varied with something for everyone. The food was excellent. Service was friendly and quick. We would stay here again and recommend to anyone.
