Nice Hotel close to Bowling Tournament and CasinoPosted May 27, 2015
Pros: Hotel had comfortable beds, a microwave, bar fridge, TV, and tub with a shower. Clean smelling. Good water pressure and nice shower.
Cons: Old style tube TV could be upgraded to newer style flat screen.
Location: Casino a short drive away from hotel. Lots of things to do in area if more time available. Nt far from downtown shopping area and local bars and resta
Easy to find hotel by GPS. Right next to Tim Horton's but noise and traffic not a problem. Close to Bowling Lanes where the Provincial Tournament was being held (about two blocks). Not far from downtown and Casino. Several restaurants in the area as well as drug store, grocery stores or other malls.

Clean Room and Pleasant StaffPosted May 4, 2015
Pros: Clean room, friendly helpful staff.
Cons: General freshening/remodeling especially the bathrooms.
This is an older hotel, and our bathroom needed to be remodeled. However it was clean, convenient, and all the staff was very helpful. I would stay again. Don't count on a decent breakfast in the lobby, but the restaurant in the back parking lot was good and reasonable.

NICE LOCATION, VERY CLOSE AMMENITIESPosted Apr 13, 2015
Check it was nice! Our room was decent could use some upgrades. Our stay was very noisy heard banging from above until 130 am also the pipes are very loud, piercing startling sound whenever rooms above us used the bathroom.

Best of hotels we stayed at during recent tripPosted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: Clean, clean, clean
Cons: Didn't notice any faults
Location: We were there for an overnight rest and the local attractions were of no interest to hu.
We stated at several hotels during out trip to and from Florida and this was the best. Made me proud of Canadian hotel operators.

Near downtownPosted Apr 4, 2015
Nice location near downtown but didn't like one of the staff (old ady with a dog). She doesn't have good customer service.

For your traveling pleasure, please avoid.Posted Mar 6, 2015
Cons: The staff training - you are serving the public, please be courteous and LISTEN - Fix the technical problems and try to believe the clients
Location: Lots of good chinese restaurants if you like chinese - Ceasar's casino is nearby and offers above average service - It's worth every extra penny.
We had to get up every hour to start the heather or to stop it, bacause the thermostat on the unit did not work. The temperature went from 50-55 F to 85-90 within every 60 minutes. The staff does not know its area. W easked for their recommendation on a chinese restaurant and we were told that there was only one about 2 or 3 miles from the hotel. We started screening the ''yellow pages'' and found about 15 chinese restaurants within 2 miles. We explained all the inconveniences to the reception the next morning but we were told that they could not do anything since we made our reservation and paid through Expedia. Even more insulting, the receptionist came into the room while we were gathering our luggage and started playing with the heather/AC unit . . .Why ?? Do you think I was lying when I said I had to get up every 60 minute to adjust the temperature in the room (It was - 28C outside).

Hockey game in Detroit and New Years eve, relatively quiet, rooms need updated. Priced high but new years eve is to be expected. Wouldn't book again but stayed in much worse
