"The house was fantastic. Close to Hunter Mountain Ski Resort and a cute one street town. Peter and Lara had both wood burning stoves going for us when we arrived. The house is wonderful with a fun separate hang out place for the kids. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Hot tub with wonderful views. All the firewood you could ever need. We will be back for sure!"

"Amazing location right across the street from the entrance to Hunter. Very clean and spacious. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen. We had one glitch that was quickly addressed by our lovely host. We would come stay again!"

"Overall the stay was nice. The inside of the home was very neat and tidy. My complaints would be that the outdoor BBQ hut grill was not clean. Also, we were unable to use the hot tub because the chemicals were very overpowering. It was kind of a bummer not being able to use those amenities but otherwise we had a very nice stay."

"We needed a central location for my daughter’s bridal shower. We could not have imagined a better place. It is beautiful and so natural. Glen was helpful and welcoming. He even came over to sweep off the expansive patio before our guests arrived and this was after he made sure everyone was awake. The house was well supplied with kitchen and dining items. The grounds were perfect - lawn chairs, picnic table, fire pit and free range chickens whose eggs we were able to enjoy. We would all stay here...

"There were 26 of us for a nice family gathering. Plenty of bedrooms and beds. Only 2 showers for 26 people a little challenging. Kitchen facilities lacking materials as noted in the listing. Bring your own pots and pans. Hot tub and fire pit were a nice addition. All in all, worked out great."

"Beautiful, updated property! Very modern and clean. Loved being able to park our car and walk to all of Woodstock’s shops and restaurants. Big fenced in yard is a plus for extra security/privacy. Loved the gas fireplace for extra warmth. Beds were very comfortable. Bottle of wine was a nice welcoming touch. We will definitely return for the Flea Market located directly across the street."

"This house is even more beautiful in person. From the high-quality dishes to the beautiful design, sauna, outdoor space and fenced-in backyard, it was a great vacation for all of us, including the dog. They were working on the barn during our stay but management was very responsive and the workers were so nice. We can't wait to see what they turn the barn into! Location was convenient to the ski area (to visit friends about 30 minutes away) and my in-laws who were also about 25 minutes away. We...

"Our family was attending a wedding at Hunter Mtn Resort. The rental was perfect for our weekend. The location was great,beautiful trail across the street and the wooded lot was peaceful. Wish we had stayed and extra day to enjoy the many restaurants and little towns."

"We had a great time, and the space was great. The house is so spacious, and that was perfect for us. We would have liked a few more towels, a bit more soap and shampoo, and the grill didn't get hot enough to cook the steak we had brought. Overall a wonderful time. Thank you very much."

"The number of bedrooms and bathrooms was great for the 13 of us. The big kitchen, pantry and long dining tables made for fun interaction. The game room with pool table and ping pong table were perfect for after dinner fun. Beautiful property on the river. We plan to go back. Historic homes are tough to maintain and our hope is that it is as nice in the future as it was this week."

"Wonderful property that allowed me to disconnect and relax. The home was comfortable and clean. Although this may seem weird, the towels were hotel quality and the sheets were clean and fresh. I appreciate this because I’ve stayed at some rentals that the sheets and towels were very questionable. I had everything I needed. Would definitely stay here again. Great communication by the property manager. They were awesome!"

"We really enjoyed our stay! We had a large group of 24 friends, and the house met all of our needs. It was very clean, had enough bedrooms for everyone, and a large dining table that accommodated everyone for big dinners. We spent a lot of time throughout the weekend outside playing lawn games and sitting by the fire. The place was close enough to grab amenities or go to a grocery store, but off the beaten path and quiet. It was exactly what was listed and made for a where enjoyable time....

"The Chapel at Upland was the perfect 2-day getaway for me and my two teenage children! We wanted something tucked away but that also had a pool. The added bonus was the tennis court. Both the pool and tennis court are new and well-tended. Our dog was able to roam the property and get her own little vacation too. The house is cute, good for 4 people. The host, Lisa, is super friendly and helpful. 5 stars!"
