Staff were awesome. Casino and my room were clean. My room safe was on the ground; I needed to get on my hands and knees to use it. Thermostat also required that I bent over to read/adjust it (no, I was not in a handicap room). Also some odd escalator usage to get to the second level of parking. But at least the parking here is free!

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Gold Coast. The staff is very nice and helpful. The only drawback is the smoking inside the casino. This was a bit irritating. The location is off the strip, but it is accessible by car or bus. The dining options are limited at the Gold Coast. There is no buffet sadly. However, directly across the street there are several dining choices. My room was clean and comfortable and the decor is reminiscent of the 1980s era.

The rooms were newly remodeled and very clean hotel. I will stay again. I was able to walk across the street to Palms Hotel. Parking was so easy & convenient to casino entrance. No crowds. Didn't have to wait for anything. Check in was a breeze. Charged $39 for early check in. Staff was very pleasant all around.
