When we arrived bathroom was dirty. There isn't any good lighting in the room at night. Key card was not working and we stood outside waiting for front desk 15/20 minutes. Fridge did not get cold. Do not book a suite unless you are willing to walk up 3 flights. Wl

My tv didn’t work the entire stay. It kept saying something about the connection. The tub drain was clogged so when I showered it was a whole tub full of water. The bathroom toilet was wired to flush. The ppl above me where fighting the entire time

The Essex Hotel was clean and the rooms were nice, the staff was nice but it needs some noise insulation. We were able to hear conversations from the rooms next to us and walking from the room above us. It is a party hotel so if you are not out until 3-4am I would not recommend it otherwise it is the place to be.

There is one ice machine in the building and it was frequently empty. The front desk does bring up a bucket if you call down. Also, my TV did not work the entire time. I reported it to the front desk twice but no one came to check on the issue and/or repair it. Over all, nice area in walking distance to the beach and other hot spots. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly

The room conditions were old and rusted. Front desk was helpful. They have to come turn the tv on the operate it everytime it’s turned off. Valet took forever to bring car. It’s very close to everything that’s the best thing about it
