"We were just passing through Rio Rancho and needed a clean bed and a quick breakfast. 1 out of 2 is ok, I guess. The staff was quick at check in and our room was very clean, even the bathroom, which tend to be problem areas in hotels. "I had a wonderful stay at the Casita. The apartment was very comfortable with a lovely patio out back for a morning coffee. It was far enough off the main drag to be very quiet, yet conveniently close to restaurants, store, and any activities in the area. Mike and Bernie were wonderful hosts. They live on the property and were very available for any questions or assistance I needed, but provided complete privacy otherwise. I would highly recommend the Casita."

"The bed was good and the bathroom was clean. Access easy and location good. BUT, you can hear the people who live in the house…their dog barking, their conversations (not just noise but enough I could hear the conversation sometimes, which means they could hear me too!!). MOST importantly, although you enter through 2 locked doors into the house, there is NO LOCK on the door to the room. WHAT??? The rug in the main room (the only one) is FILTHY. Some work needed to justify this cost"
