Resort is very good! Daily programs and activities are pretty cool! Hotel is nice….my understanding has been renovated. One thing I need to point out is the “septic smell” of certain areas of the resort! Additional the “No way ahead reservation“ to dine in restaurants.

This was the perfect place for our family. We rented 2 rooms, and we felt safe leaving our 16 year olds wander without us. Clean and friendly staff. Lots of food options. Taxis conveniently available to take you into town

After reading the reviews I was kind of hesitated to stay here but giving my honest opinion I would give this resort a 8/10, the ocean view room was amazing and mini fridge was completely stock with no fee of charge.The breakfast buffet was delicious with many options, 4 restaurants on site but you really have to stand in line 2 hrs early to get in. Staff and communication was effected , the bell men are quick and fast with anything you may need upon or after arrival, plenty of beach chairs and activities throughout the property

very clean and everyone nice. Plenty of food and drink. Sad that the Pools closed at 7:30 pm every evening- would be a reason to try another location. I understand that they have to be cleaned - but out of the 4 pools you'd think they could keep one open til 9:30 pm. Neon Party was fun- they put alot of work into entertaining all ages.

Overall I am dissatisfied with the hotel, it was dirty and looked dirty. I for sure will not be staying at this hotel ever again. The elevator situation sucks, the pools look dirty, the eating area suck, the quality of the drinks/food below average. This hotel needs improvement.

First of all I was supposed to stay at the Riu Vallarta Jasicol bust was told that I would like the Riu Palace better by an employee named Luz. She pay the taxi and then I went over to the the Riu Palace. I was nice over there and much quieter. But the food wasn’t the best. Majority of the staff provided Excellent Customer Service. The room service male person was absolutely the worst. I ordered room service on my second day. I waited one hour for a sandwich then I called back. I spoke to the same man. He told me he was on his way. I waited another 50 minutes. The sandwich never came. I thought better go down and get myself some lunch. The People relations females named was Alexandria that called to ask me about my stay so far on the second day. She told me she was going to in investigate the situation. Never did. Or least she never got back to me. I was not happy with her follow procedures. I did attempt to order room service again on another day. I asked the man for a couple things on my sandwich. He put mayonnaise and onions on my sandwich which I did not ask for. But that’s what I got. it was the same man I spoke to the day before no I did not get his name, but he was inc charged of the room service. I inquired.. I Riu resorts over the years but this particular one DefinitelyWas Not one of my Favorites. I really don’t expect any results from this. I’m just giving you my feedback.

A couple things to know before you book. No reservations at restaurants, if you plan to sit on beach you will you be sold many things, the resort is very worried about towels one per day. RIU resorts does lots of planning to keep you busy and happy. Overall it was great!!
