"This home is absolutely stunning! We stayed here with my three grown children, my in-laws, and my parents. It was absolutely perfect for all of us. The single bedroom on the ground floor was perfect for my mother-in-law, who finds stairs to be difficult. It is far enough away from Barcelona to give you privacy and time out from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough if you want to venture in for the day. There is a nice grocery store 10 minutes away from the home and a beautiful town...

"Incredible experience from the very beginning. Stayed at Frederick's and Magda's house for two nights with my 20 year old son. The drive up the mountain dirt road from Figaro gave us a thrill and a challenge for our rented Opel Corsa, but it was so worth it! If you're using GPS make sure you navigate to the farm from El Garriga - a little bit longer but a much better road and a lot kinder on your vehicle. Frederick and Magda were absolutely fabulous hosts and treated us like part of the family....

"It is not easy to find good accommodation for 3 people and a dog but this cottage ticks all the boxes. The house has so much character and the garden is heavenly with all its exotics trees and shrubs. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, a very well equipped kitchen and overall a very homely feel. Situated 2kms from the nearest beach, the house ensures rest and relaxation but many other coves are just a few kms away,as well as all the shops, cafés and restaurants. So take you pick. We...

Bien équipé, il bénéficie d'une terrasse extérieure spacieuse où il fait bon vivre. La piscine partagée avec le second gîte est très jolie dans un bel environnement. "Esta casa está muy bien situada, puedes ir al Estany de Banyoles caminando, o muy bien ubicada en lugares como Besalú. Tiene muchas habitaciones y espacios muy amplios para compartir, la piscina aun siendo fuera de temporada estaba limpísima y nos dimos un baño muy refrescante."

"Was a lovely country stay after 2 weeks of city stays. It was just the break we needed. Place has everything you need and the pool was great. Dispite being on the property with others it was very private. We were especially happy to spend time patting the two calm dogs who spend their days laying in the yard. Its a short drive to some great sites in Besalu, and Figures as well as Girona. Highly recommended."

Carme, the host of the property, went above and beyond in any request we had and was always available to answer any question for us. The villa itself is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by vineyards, and stunning views, we spent the whole 2 days in the private pool.
