“Overall a good stay”

“Boulder Valley is a lovely place to stay, nestled deep into a steep lush valley, only the forest sounds at night. The staff are charming and helpful. The monkeys were well-mannered: they were easy to observe and they didn't beg for food or steal our gear. We loved it!”

“A beautiful, historic facility and fantastic staff that take care of all your needs. The rooms can use updating and the A/C in our 1st room was too weak (the staff moved us into another room that had better a/c) but restaurants are a short walk away and again, the staff are great. ”

“It’s a beautiful boutique hotel. The amenities were great and I loved the pool. And the location was amazing. I stayed in the loft-style room. I think perhaps it was the was the steps were designed, I almost tripped a couple times at the turn of the stairs. They should put a lamp on the table under the stairs because it was too dark as well. There was zero artwork in the room. Also, I was disappointed that, given it is a five-star hotel, the attention to details was subpar. A light bulb...

“We were delayed in London due to no fault of us but the airline. They compensated us without us asking to upgrade our room to a suite and also when I told them if we can hv a buffet on the house, there was no hesitation to honour it. Thank you Eastern n Oriental as it made us feel happy after such a horrendous journey as we had to rearrange n lost quite abit due to delay .”

“I like the fact that they have a variety of room types, including some with private pools, which makes me want to come back and book these rooms next time. There are plenty of breakfast options, including not just Malay food but also Indian, Chinese, Thai, and Western dishes.”
