“We very much enjoyed our stay in George Town at the Magpie Heritage Hideaway - as other reviewers have mentioned, the manager Jern is a very friendly and helpful chap who gave us useful advice. The location is good for exploring George Town on foot and can also use Grab to get around easily. Don't expect the same finish/quality of furnishing/toiletries etc as a 5* hotel (why would you at this price?!) But do expect great service and a pleasant stay.”

“Location: City centre Shopping: Right next to Komtar, 1st Avenue, etc. Food: Less than 5 minutes drive (walkable) to famous food areas in Penang Rd, Macalister Rd, Burmah Rd, etc. Transport: Easy to get Grab and also near the coastal highway to the Airport.
